1 ¶ And there was given me a reed like unto a rod, and he said unto me, Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those that worship therein.

¶ Y me fue dada una caña semejante a una vara, y se me dijo: Levántate, y mide el templo de Dios, y el altar, y a los que adoran en él.

2 B ut leave out the court which is within the temple and measure it not, for it is given unto the Gentiles, and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty-two months.

Y echa fuera el patio que está dentro del templo, y no lo midas, porque es dado a los gentiles; y hollarán la ciudad santa cuarenta y dos meses.

3 ¶ And I will give my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

¶ Y daré a mis dos testigos, y ellos profetizarán por mil doscientos sesenta días, vestidos de cilicio.

4 T hese are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.

Estas son las dos olivas, y los dos candeleros que están delante del Dios de la tierra.

5 A nd if anyone desires to hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies; and if anyone desires to hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Y si alguno les quisiere dañar, sale fuego de la boca de ellos, y devora a sus enemigos; y si alguno les quisiere hacer daño, es necesario que él sea así muerto.

6 T hese have power to shut the heaven, that it not rain in the days of their prophecy and have power over the waters to turn them to blood and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Estos tienen potestad de cerrar el cielo, que no llueva en los días de su profecía, y tienen poder sobre las aguas para convertirlas en sangre, y para herir la tierra con toda plaga cuantas veces quisieren.

7 A nd when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them and shall overcome them and kill them.

Y cuando ellos hubieren acabado su testimonio, la bestia que sube del abismo hará guerra contra ellos, y los vencerá, y los matará.

8 A nd their dead bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Y sus cuerpos serán echados en las plazas de la gran ciudad, que espiritualmente es llamada Sodoma, y Egipto; donde también nuestro Señor fue colgado en el madero.

9 A nd those of the peoples and kindreds and tongues and Gentiles shall see their dead bodies three days and a half and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Y los de los linajes, y de los pueblos, y de las lenguas, y de los gentiles verán los cuerpos de ellos por tres días y medio, y no permitirán que sus cuerpos sean puestos en sepulcros.

10 A nd those that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them and make merry and shall send gifts one to another because these two prophets tormented those that dwelt on the earth.

Y los moradores de la tierra se gozarán sobre ellos, y se alegrarán, y se enviarán dones los unos a los otros; porque estos dos profetas han atormentado a los que moran sobre la tierra.

11 A nd after three days and a half, the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them.

Y después de tres días y medio, el Espíritu de vida, enviado de Dios entró en ellos, y se alzaron sobre sus pies, y vino gran temor sobre los que los vieron.

12 A nd they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up here. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Y oyeron una gran voz del cielo, que les decía: Subid acá. Y subieron al cielo en una nube, y sus enemigos los vieron.

13 A nd in the same hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain the names of seven thousand men; and the others were frightened and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Y en aquella hora fue hecho gran temblor de tierra, y la décima parte de la ciudad cayó, y fueron muertos en el temblor de tierra los nombres de siete mil hombres; y los demás fueron espantados, y dieron gloria al Dios del cielo.

14 ¶ The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe comes quickly.

¶ El segundo ¡Ay! es pasado; he aquí, el tercer ¡Ay! vendrá presto.

15 A nd the seventh angel sounded the trumpet, and there were great voices in the heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are reduced unto our Lord and to his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Y el séptimo ángel tocó la trompeta. Y fueron hechas grandes voces en el cielo, que decían: Los reinos de este mundo son reducidos a nuestro Señor y a su Cristo; y reinará para siempre jamás.

16 A nd the twenty-four elders, who sat before God on their thrones, fell upon their faces and worshipped God,

Y los veinticuatro ancianos que estaban sentados delante de Dios en sus tronos, se postraron sobre sus rostros, y adoraron a Dios,

17 s aying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art and wast, and art to come because thou hast taken to thee thy great power and hast reigned.

diciendo: Te damos gracias, Señor Dios Todopoderoso, que eres y que eras y que has de venir, porque has tomado tu gran potencia, y has reinado.

18 A nd the Gentiles were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou should give the reward unto thy slaves the prophets and to the saints and those that fear thy name, to the small and to the great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.

Y los gentiles se han airado, y tu ira es venida, y el tiempo de los muertos para que sean juzgados, y para que des el galardón a tus siervos los profetas, y a los santos, y a los que temen tu Nombre, a los pequeñitos y a los grandes, y para que destruyas los que destruyen la tierra.

19 A nd the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of his testament was seen in his temple: and there were lightnings and voices and thunderings and earthquakes and great hail.

Y el templo de Dios fue abierto en el cielo, y el arca de su Testamento fue vista en su templo. Y fueron hechos relámpagos y voces y truenos y terremotos y grande granizo.
