1 ¶ For this cause I, Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

¶ Por causa de esto yo Pablo, prisionero, de Cristo Jesús para vosotros los gentiles,

2 i f ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which has been given to me in you,

si empero habéis oído la dispensación de la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dada en vosotros,

3 h ow that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery (as I wrote above in a few words,

a saber, que por revelación me fue declarado el misterio, como arriba he escrito en breve;

4 b y which, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of the Christ),

(leyendo lo cual podéis entender cuál sea mi inteligencia en el misterio del Cristo;)

5 w hich in other generations was not made known unto the sons of men as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,

el cual en las otras generaciones no se dio a conocer a los hijos de los hombres como ahora es revelado a sus santos apóstoles y profetas en Espíritu:

6 t hat the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakers of his promise in the Christ by the gospel,

Que los gentiles sean juntamente herederos, e incorporados, y consortes de su Promesa en el Cristo por el Evangelio;

7 o f which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the operation of his power.

del cual yo soy hecho ministro por el don de la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dado, según la operación de su potencia.

8 U nto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of the Christ

A mí, digo, el más pequeño de todos los santos, es dada esta gracia de anunciar entre los gentiles el Evangelio de las inescrutables riquezas del Cristo,

9 a nd to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the ages has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

y de aclarar a todos cuál sea la comunión del misterio escondido desde los siglos en Dios, que creó todas las cosas por Jesús el Cristo.

10 T o the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the congregation the manifold wisdom of God,

Para que la multiforme sabiduría de Dios sea ahora notificada por la Iglesia a los principados y potestades en los cielos,

11 a ccording to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord,

conforme a la determinación eterna, que hizo en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro,

12 I n whom we have security and access with confidence by the faith of him.

en el cual tenemos seguridad y entrada con confianza por la fe de él.

13 T herefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Por tanto, pido que no desmayéis por causa de mis tribulaciones por vosotros, lo cual es vuestra gloria.

14 ¶ For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

¶ Por esta causa doblo mis rodillas al Padre del Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo,

15 ( of whom the whole family in the heavens and on earth is named),

(del cual es nombrada toda la familia en los cielos y en la tierra),

16 t hat he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man,

que os dé, conforme a las riquezas de su gloria, el ser corroborados con potencia en el hombre interior por su Espíritu.

17 t hat the Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that ye, being rooted and grounded in charity,

Que habite el Cristo por la fe en vuestros corazones; para que, arraigados y fundados en caridad,

18 m ay be able to well comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height

podáis bien comprender con todos los santos cuál sea la anchura y la longitud y la profundidad y la altura,

19 a nd to know the charity of the Christ, which passes all knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

y conocer la caridad del Cristo, que excede a todo conocimiento, para que seáis llenos de toda la plenitud de Dios.

20 N ow unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Y a Aquel que es poderoso para hacer todas las cosas mucho más abundantemente de lo que pedimos o entendemos, por la potencia que obra en nosotros,

21 u nto him be glory in the congregation by Christ Jesus throughout all generations of the ages of the ages. Amen.

a él sea gloria en la Iglesia por Cristo Jesús, por todas las generaciones por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
