1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:

2 M ake thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them that thou may use them for the convocation of the congregation and for the moving of the camp.

Mache dir zwei Drommeten von getriebenem Silber, daß du sie brauchst, die Gemeinde zu berufen und wenn das Heer aufbrechen soll.

3 A nd when they shall blow them, all the congregation shall join themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

Wenn man mit beiden schlicht bläst, soll sich zu dir versammeln die ganze Gemeinde vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts.

4 B ut when they blow only one, then the princes, who are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

Wenn man nur mit einer schlicht bläst, so sollen sich zu dir versammeln die Fürsten, die Obersten über die Tausende in Israel.

5 W hen ye blow an alarm, then ye shall move the camp of those that are lodged towards the east.

Wenn ihr aber drommetet, so sollen die Lager aufbrechen, die gegen Morgen liegen.

6 A nd when ye blow an alarm the second time, then ye shall move the camp of those that are lodged on the side of the Negev; they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

Und wenn ihr zum andernmal drommetet, so sollen die Lager aufbrechen, die gegen Mittag liegen. Denn wenn sie reisen sollen, so sollt ihr drommeten.

7 B ut when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

Wenn aber die Gemeinde zu versammeln ist, sollt ihr schlicht blasen und nicht drommeten.

8 A nd the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and you shall have them as a perpetual statute throughout your generations.

Es sollen aber solch Blasen mit den Drommeten die Söhne Aarons, die Priester, tun; und das soll euer Recht sein ewiglich bei euren Nachkommen.

9 A nd when ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

Wenn ihr in einen Streit ziehet in eurem Lande wider eure Feinde, die euch bedrängen, so sollt ihr drommeten mit den Drommeten, daß euer gedacht werde vor dem HERRN, eurem Gott, und ihr erlöst werdet von euren Feinden.

10 A lso in the day of your gladness and in your solemn days and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace, that they may be to you for a memorial before your God; I AM your God.

Desgleichen, wenn ihr fröhlich seid, und an euren Festen und an euren Neumonden sollt ihr mit den Drommeten blasen über eure Brandopfer und Dankopfer, daß es euch sei zum Gedächtnis vor eurem Gott. Ich bin der HERR, euer Gott.

11 ¶ And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

Am zwanzigsten Tage im zweiten Monat des zweiten Jahres erhob sich die Wolke von der Wohnung des Zeugnisses.

12 A nd the sons of Israel moved out of the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

Und die Kinder Israel brachen auf und zogen aus der Wüste Sinai, und die Wolke blieb in der Wüste Pharan.

13 A nd they moved the first time according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

Es brachen aber auf die ersten nach dem Wort des HERRN durch Mose;

14 I n the first place went the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah according to their armies, and over his host was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab.

nämlich das Panier des Lagers der Kinder Juda zog am ersten mit ihrem Heer, und über ihr Heer war Nahesson, der Sohn Amminadabs;

15 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar was Nethaneel, the son of Zuar.

und über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Isaschar war Nathanael, der Sohn Zuars;

16 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun was Eliab, the son of Helon.

und über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Sebulon war Eliab, der Sohn Helons.

17 A nd the tabernacle was already taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.

Da zerlegte man die Wohnung, und zogen die Kinder Gerson und Merari und trugen die Wohnung.

18 T hen the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies, and over his host was Elizur, the son of Shedeur.

Darnach zog das Panier des Lagers Rubens mit ihrem Heer, und über ihr Heer war Elizur, der Sohn Sedeurs;

19 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon was Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai.

und über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Simeon war Selumiel, der Sohn Zuri-Saddais;

20 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad was Eliasaph, the son of Deuel.

und Eljasaph, der Sohn Deguels, über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Gad.

21 T hen the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary, and while they were coming, the others set up the tabernacle.

Da zogen auch die Kahathiten und trugen das Heiligtum; und jene richteten die Wohnung auf, bis diese nachkamen.

22 A fter them the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim set forward according to their armies, and over his host was Elishama, the son of Ammihud.

Darnach zog das Panier des Lagers der Kinder Ephraim mit ihrem Heer, und über ihr Heer war Elisama, der Sohn Ammihuds;

23 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh was Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur.

und Gamliel, der Sohn Pedazurs, über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Manasse;

24 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin was Abidan, the son of Gideoni.

und Abidan, der Sohn des Gideoni, über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Benjamin.

25 T hen the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan set forward according to their armies, gathering together all the camps, and over his host was Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai.

Darnach zog das Panier des Lagers der Kinder Dan mit ihrem Heer; und so waren die Lager alle auf. Und Ahi-Eser, der Sohn Ammi-Saddais, war über ihr Heer;

26 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher was Pagiel, the son of Ocran.

und Pagiel, der Sohn Ochrans, über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Asser;

27 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali was Ahira, the son of Enan.

und Ahira, der Sohn Enans, über das Heer des Stammes der Kinder Naphthali.

28 T hus were the journeyings of the sons of Israel according to their armies when they set forward.

So zogen die Kinder Israel mit ihrem Heer.

29 ¶ Then Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it to you. Come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.

Und Mose sprach zu seinem Schwager Hobab, dem Sohn Reguels, aus Midian: Wir ziehen dahin an die Stätte, davon der HERR gesagt hat: Ich will sie euch geben; so komm nun mit uns, so wollen wir das Beste an dir tun; denn der HERR hat Israel Gutes zugesagt.

30 A nd he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to my own land and to my kindred.

Er aber antwortete: Ich will nicht mit euch, sondern in mein Land zu meiner Freundschaft ziehen.

31 A nd he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; for thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be to us instead of eyes.

Er sprach: Verlaß uns doch nicht; denn du weißt, wo wir in der Wüste uns lagern sollen, und sollst unser Auge sein.

32 A nd it shall be, if thou go with us, that when we come into the goodness that the LORD shall do unto us, that we will do thee good.

Und wenn du mit uns ziehst: was der HERR Gutes an uns tut, das wollen wir an dir tun.

33 T hus they departed from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey, and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days’ journey, searching out a resting place for them.

Also zogen sie von dem Berge des HERRN drei Tagereisen, und die Lade des Bundes des HERRN zog vor ihnen her die drei Tagereisen, ihnen zu weisen, wo sie ruhen sollten.

34 A nd the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, from when they went out of the camp.

Und die Wolke des Herrn war des Tages über ihnen, wenn sie aus dem Lager zogen.

35 A nd it came to pass, when the ark was moved, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let those that hate thee flee before thee.

Und wenn die Lade zog, so sprach Mose: HERR, stehe auf! laß deine Feinde zerstreut und die dich hassen, flüchtig werden vor dir!

36 A nd when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the ten thousands of Israel.

Und wenn sie ruhte, so sprach er: Komm wieder, HERR, zu der Menge der Tausende Israels!
