1 ¶ Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in the Mount Moriah which had been shown unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan, the Jebusite.

Und Salomo fing an zu bauen das Haus des HERRN zu Jerusalem auf dem Berge Morija, der David, seinem Vater, gezeigt war, welchen David zubereitet hatte zum Raum auf der Tenne Ornans, des Jebusiters.

2 A nd he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

Er fing aber an zu bauen im zweiten Monat am zweiten Tage im vierten Jahr seines Königreiches.

3 N ow these are the measurements on which Solomon founded the building of the house of God. The first measurement was the length of sixty cubits and the breadth of twenty cubits.

Und also legte Salomo den Grund, zu bauen das Haus Gottes: die Länge sechzig Ellen nach altem Maß, die Weite zwanzig Ellen.

4 A nd the porch that was in the front of the length was of twenty cubits, according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was one hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

Und die Halle vor der Weite des Hauses her war zwanzig Ellen lang, die Höhe aber war hundertzwanzig Ellen; und er überzog sie inwendig mit lauterem Golde.

5 A nd the greater house he covered with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.

Das große Haus aber täfelte er mit Tannenholz und überzog's mit dem besten Golde und machte darauf Palmen und Kettenwerk

6 A nd he also covered the house with precious stones for beauty, and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

und überzog das Haus mit edlen Steinen zum Schmuck; das Gold aber war Parwaim-Gold.

7 T hus did he cover the house, its beams, its posts, its walls, and its doors, with gold and engraved cherubim on the walls.

Und überzog das Haus, die Balken und die Schwellen samt seinen Wänden und Türen mit Gold und ließ Cherubim schnitzen an die Wände.

8 A nd he made the house of the holy of holies, its length was twenty cubits, according to the breadth of the house, and its breadth was twenty cubits, and he covered it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

Er machte auch das Haus des Allerheiligsten, des Länge war zwanzig Ellen nach der Weite des Hauses, und seine Weite war auch zwanzig Ellen, und überzog's mit dem besten Golde bei sechshundert Zentner.

9 A nd the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.

Und gab auch zu Nägeln fünfzig Lot Gold am Gewicht und überzog die Söller mit Gold.

10 ¶ And inside the house of the holy of holies he made two cherubim of figured work and overlaid them with gold.

Er machte auch im Hause des Allerheiligsten zwei Cherubim nach der Bildner Kunst und überzog sie mit Gold.

11 A nd the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long; one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

Und die Länge der Flügel an den Cherubim war zwanzig Ellen, daß ein Flügel fünf Ellen hatte und rührte an die Wand des Hauses und der andere Flügel auch fünf Ellen hatte und rührte an den Flügel des andern Cherubs.

12 A nd one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

Also hatte auch der eine Flügel des andern Cherubs fünf Ellen und rührte an die Wand des Hauses und sein anderer Flügel auch fünf Ellen und rührte an den Flügel des andern Cherubs,

13 T he wings of these cherubim spread themselves forth twenty cubits, and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.

daß diese Flügel der Cherubim waren ausgebreitet zwanzig Ellen weit; und sie standen auf ihren Füßen, und ihr Antlitz war gewandt zum Hause hin.

14 A nd he made the veil of blue and purple and crimson and fine linen and wrought cherubim thereon.

Er machte auch einen Vorhang von blauem und rotem Purpur, von Scharlach und köstlichem weißen Leinwerk und machte Cherubim darauf.

15 A lso he made in front of the house two pillars of thirty-five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

Und er machte vor dem Hause zwei Säulen, fünfunddreißig Ellen lang und der Knauf obendrauf fünf Ellen,

16 A nd he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars and made one hundred pomegranates and put them on the chains.

und machte Ketten zum Gitterwerk und tat sie oben an die Säulen und machte hundert Granatäpfel und tat sie an die Ketten

17 A nd he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left, and called the name of the one on the right hand Jachin, and the name of the one on the left Boaz.

und richtete die Säulen auf vor dem Tempel, eine zur Rechten und die andere zur Linken, und hieß die zur Rechten Jachin und die zur Linken Boas.
