1 B ow down thine ear, O Jehovah, and answer me; For I am poor and needy.

Inclina, oh SEÑOR, tu oído, y óyeme; porque estoy pobre y menesteroso.

2 P reserve my soul; for I am godly: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

Guarda mi alma, porque soy misericordioso; salva tú, oh Dios mío, a tu siervo que en ti confía.

3 B e merciful unto me, O Lord; For unto thee do I cry all the day long.

Ten misericordia de mí, oh SEÑOR; porque a ti clamo cada día.

4 R ejoice the soul of thy servant; For unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

Alegra el alma de tu siervo; porque a ti, oh Señor, levanto mi alma.

5 F or thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.

Porque tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador, y grande en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan.

6 G ive ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer; And hearken unto the voice of my supplications.

Escucha, oh SEÑOR, mi oración, y está atento a la voz de mis ruegos.

7 I n the day of my trouble I will call upon thee; For thou wilt answer me.

En el día de mi angustia te llamaré; porque tú me respondes.

8 T here is none like unto thee among the gods, O Lord; Neither are there any works like unto thy works.

¶ Oh Señor, ninguno hay como tú entre los dioses, ni hay otro que haga tus obras.

9 A ll nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; And they shall glorify thy name.

Todos los gentiles que hiciste vendrán y se humillarán delante de ti, Señor; y glorificarán tu Nombre.

10 F or thou art great, and doest wondrous things: Thou art God alone.

Porque tú eres grande, y hacedor de maravillas; tú solo eres Dios.

11 T each me thy way, O Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name.

Enséñame, oh SEÑOR, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad; afirma mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; And I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Te alabaré, oh SEÑOR Dios mío, con todo mi corazón; y glorificaré tu Nombre para siempre.

13 F or great is thy lovingkindness toward me; And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

Porque tu misericordia es grande sobre mí; y has librado mi alma de lo profundo del Seol.

14 O God, the proud are risen up against me, And a company of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set thee before them.

Oh Dios, soberbios se levantaron contra mí, y conspiración de fuertes ha buscado mi alma, y no te pusieron delante de sí.

15 B ut thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.

Mas tú, Señor, Dios misericordioso y clemente, lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

16 O h turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; Give thy strength unto thy servant, And save the son of thy handmaid.

mira en mí, y ten misericordia de mí; da fortaleza tuya a tu siervo, y guarda al hijo de tu sierva.

17 S how me a token for good, That they who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, Because thou, Jehovah, hast helped me, and comforted me.

Haz conmigo señal para bien, y véanla los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados; porque tú, SEÑOR, me ayudaste, y me consolaste.
