1 A nd he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.

Y me mostró a Josué, el sumo sacerdote, el cual estaba delante del ángel del SEÑOR; y Satanás estaba a su mano derecha para serle adversario.

2 A nd Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Y dijo el SEÑOR a Satanás: El SEÑOR te reprenda, oh Satanás; el SEÑOR, que ha escogido a Jerusalén, te reprenda. ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del incendio?

3 N ow Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.

Y Josué estaba vestido de vestimentas viles, y estaba delante del ángel.

4 A nd he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel.

Y habló el ángel, e intimó a los que estaban delante de sí, diciendo: Quitadle esas vestimentas viles. Y a él dijo: Mira que he hecho pasar tu iniquidad de ti, y te he hecho vestir de ropas nuevas.

5 A nd I said, Let them set a clean mitre upon his head. So they set a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of Jehovah was standing by.

Y dije: Pongan mitra limpia sobre su cabeza. Y pusieron una mitra limpia sobre su cabeza, y le vistieron de ropas. Y el ángel del SEÑOR estaba en pie.

6 A nd the angel of Jehovah protested unto Joshua, saying,

Y el ángel del SEÑOR protestó al mismo Josué, diciendo:

7 T hus saith Jehovah of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee a place of access among these that stand by.

Así dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos: Si anduvieres por mis caminos, y si guardares mi ordenanza, también tú gobernarás mi Casa, también tú guardarás mis atrios, y entre éstos que aquí están te daré plaza.

8 H ear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.

Escucha pues, ahora, Josué sumo sacerdote, tú, y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti; porque son varones de prodigio. He aquí, yo traigo a mi siervo, el Renuevo.

9 F or, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; upon one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Porque he aquí aquella Piedra que puse delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos; he aquí, yo esculpiré su labor, dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, y quitaré la iniquidad de la tierra en un día.

10 I n that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall ye invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig-tree.

En aquel día, dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros llamará a su compañero debajo de su vid, y debajo de su higuera.
