1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

¶ Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, y a Aarón en la tierra de Egipto, diciendo:

2 T his month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Este mes os será cabeza de los meses; éste os será primero en los meses del año.

3 S peak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household:

Hablad a toda la congregación de Israel, diciendo: En el día diez de este mes tómese cada uno un cordero por las familias de los padres, un cordero por familia;

4 a nd if the household be too little for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbor next unto his house take one according to the number of the souls; according to every man's eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.

mas si la familia fuere pequeña que no alcance a comer el cordero, entonces tomará a su vecino cercano de su casa, y según el número de las personas, cada uno conforme a su comer, echaréis la cuenta sobre el cordero.

5 Y our lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:

El cordero será sin defecto, macho de un año; lo tomaréis de las ovejas o de las cabras;

6 a nd ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.

y habéis de guardarlo hasta el día catorce de este mes; y lo inmolará toda la asamblea de la congregación del pueblo de Israel entre las dos tardes.

7 A nd they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.

Y tomarán de la sangre, y pondrán en los dos postes y en el dintel de las casas en que lo han de comer.

8 A nd they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

Y aquella noche comerán la carne asada al fuego, y panes sin levadura; con hierbas amargas lo comerán.

9 E at not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.

Ninguna cosa comeréis de él cruda, ni cocida en agua, sino asada al fuego; su cabeza con sus pies y sus intestinos.

10 A nd ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

Ninguna cosa dejaréis de él hasta la mañana; y lo que quedare hasta la mañana, habéis de quemarlo en el fuego.

11 A nd thus shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is Jehovah's passover.

Y así habéis de comerlo: ceñidos vuestros lomos, vuestros zapatos en vuestros pies, y vuestro bordón en vuestra mano; y lo comeréis apresuradamente: ésta es la Pascua del SEÑOR.

12 F or I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Jehovah.

Pues yo pasaré aquella noche por la tierra de Egipto, y heriré a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, así en los hombres como en las bestias; y haré juicios en todos los dioses de Egipto. Yo soy el SEÑOR.

13 A nd the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Y esta sangre os será por señal en las casas donde vosotros estéis; y cuando yo viere aquella sangre, pasaré por vosotros, y no habrá en vosotros plaga de mortandad, cuando hiera la tierra de Egipto.

14 A nd this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to Jehovah: throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Y este día os ha de ser en memoria, y habéis de celebrarlo como fiesta al SEÑOR por vuestras generaciones; por estatuto perpetuo lo celebraréis.

15 S even days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

Siete días comeréis panes sin levadura; y así el primer día haréis que no haya levadura en vuestras casas; porque cualquiera que comiere leudado desde el primer día hasta el séptimo, aquella alma será cortada de Israel.

16 A nd in the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.

El primer día os será santa convocación, y asimismo el séptimo día os será santa convocación; ninguna obra se hará en ellos, solamente lo que toda persona hubiere de comer, esto solamente se aderece para vosotros.

17 A nd ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance for ever.

Y guardaréis la fiesta de los ázimos, porque en aquel mismo día saqué vuestros ejércitos de la tierra de Egipto; por tanto guardaréis este día por vuestras edades por ordenanza perpetua.

18 I n the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

En el mes primero, el día catorce del mes por la tarde, comeréis los panes sin levadura, hasta el veintiuno del mes por la tarde.

19 S even days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a sojourner, or one that is born in the land.

Por siete días no se hallará levadura en vuestras casas, porque cualquiera que comiere leudado, así extranjero como natural de la tierra, aquella alma será cortada de la congregación de Israel.

20 Y e shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

Ninguna cosa leudada comeréis; en todas vuestras habitaciones comeréis panes sin levadura.

21 T hen Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover.

¶ Y Moisés convocó a todos los ancianos de Israel, y les dijo: Sacad, y tomaos corderos por vuestras familias, y sacrificad la pascua.

22 A nd ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.

Y tomad un manojo de hisopo, y mojadlo en la sangre que estará en un lebrillo, y untad el dintel y los dos postes con la sangre que estará en el lebrillo; y ninguno de vosotros salga de las puertas de su casa hasta la mañana.

23 F or Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Porque el SEÑOR pasará hiriendo a los egipcios; y cuando vea la sangre en el dintel y en los dos postes, pasará el SEÑOR aquella puerta, y no dejará entrar al heridor en vuestras casas para herir.

24 A nd ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

Y guardaréis esto por estatuto para vosotros y para vuestros hijos para siempre.

25 A nd it shall come to pass, when ye are come to the land which Jehovah will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

Y será, cuando habréis entrado en la tierra que el SEÑOR os dará, como os lo ha prometido, guardaréis este servicio.

26 A nd it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

Y cuando os dijeren vuestros hijos: ¿Qué es este vuestro servicio?

27 t hat ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of Jehovah's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

Vosotros responderéis: Esta es la víctima de la Pascua del SEÑOR, el cual pasó las casas de los hijos de Israel en Egipto, cuando hirió a los egipcios, y libró nuestras casas. Entonces el pueblo se inclinó y adoró.

28 A nd the children of Israel went and did so; as Jehovah had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

Y los hijos de Israel se fueron, e hicieron como el SEÑOR había mandado a Moisés y a Aarón, así lo hicieron.

29 A nd it came to pass at midnight, that Jehovah smote all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the first-born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the first-born of cattle.

¶ Y aconteció que a la medianoche el SEÑOR hirió a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, desde el primogénito del Faraón que estaba sentado sobre su trono, hasta el primogénito del cautivo que estaba en la cárcel, y todo primogénito de los animales.

30 A nd Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Y se levantó aquella noche el Faraón, él y todos sus siervos, y todos los egipcios; y había un gran clamor en Egipto, porque no había casa donde no hubiera muerto.

31 A nd he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve Jehovah, as ye have said.

E hizo llamar a Moisés y a Aarón de noche, y les dijo: Salid de en medio de mi pueblo vosotros, y los hijos de Israel; e id, servid al SEÑOR, como habéis dicho.

32 T ake both your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

Tomad también vuestras ovejas y vuestras vacas, como habéis dicho, e idos; y bendecidme también a mí.

33 A nd the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, to send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We are all dead men.

Y los egipcios apremiaban al pueblo, dándose prisa a echarlos de la tierra; porque decían: Todos somos muertos.

34 A nd the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading-troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

Y llevó el pueblo su masa antes que se leudara, sus masas atadas, en sus vestidos sobre sus hombros.

35 A nd the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment.

E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme al mandamiento de Moisés, demandando a los egipcios vasos de plata, y vasos de oro, y vestidos.

36 A nd Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they despoiled the Egyptians.

Y el SEÑOR dio gracia al pueblo delante de los egipcios, y les dieron; y ellos despojaron a los egipcios.

37 A nd the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, besides children.

¶ Y partieron los hijos de Israel de Ramesés a Sucot, como seiscientos mil hombres de a pie, sin contar los niños.

38 A nd a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

Y también subió con ellos grande multitud de diversa suerte; y muchísimas ovejas y vacas.

39 A nd they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victuals.

Y cocieron la masa, que habían sacado de Egipto, e hicieron tortas sin levadura, porque no había leudado, porque al echarlos fuera los egipcios, no habían podido detenerse, ni aun prepararse comida.

40 N ow the time that the children of Israel dwelt in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.

El tiempo que los hijos de Israel habitaron en Egipto, fue cuatrocientos treinta años.

41 A nd it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of Jehovah went out from the land of Egypt.

Y pasados los cuatrocientos treinta años, en el mismo día salieron todos los ejércitos del SEÑOR de la tierra de Egipto.

42 I t is a night to be much observed unto Jehovah for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of Jehovah, to be much observed of all the children of Israel throughout their generations.

Esta es noche de guardar al SEÑOR, por haberlos sacado en ella de la tierra de Egipto. Esta noche deben guardar al SEÑOR todos los hijos de Israel por sus edades.

43 A nd Jehovah said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: there shall no foreigner eat thereof;

¶ Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés y a Aarón: Esta será la ordenanza de la Pascua: Ningún extraño comerá de ella;

44 b ut every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

mas todo siervo humano comprado por dinero, comerá de ella después que lo hubieres circuncidado.

45 A sojourner and a hired servant shall not eat thereof.

El extranjero y el asalariado no comerán de ella.

46 I n one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth aught of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

En una casa se comerá, y no llevarás de aquella carne fuera de casa, ni quebraréis hueso en él.

47 A ll the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

Toda la congregación de Israel hará este sacrificio.

48 A nd when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to Jehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

Mas si algún extranjero peregrinare contigo, y quisiere hacer la pascua al SEÑOR, séale circuncidado todo varón, y entonces se llegará a hacer este sacrificio, y será como el natural de la tierra; pero ningún incircunciso comerá de ella.

49 O ne law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

La misma ley será para el natural y para el extranjero que peregrinare entre vosotros.

50 T hus did all the children of Israel; as Jehovah commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

Y todos los hijos de Israel hicieron como mandó el SEÑOR a Moisés y a Aarón, así lo hicieron.

51 A nd it came to pass the selfsame day, that Jehovah did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.

Y en aquel mismo día el SEÑOR sacó los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos.
