1 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.

Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, está sobre tus pies, y hablaré contigo.

2 A nd the Spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet; and I heard him that spake unto me.

Y entró espíritu en mí luego que me habló, y me afirmó sobre mis pies, y oí al que me hablaba.

3 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to nations that are rebellious, which have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me even unto this very day.

Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, yo te envío a los hijos de Israel, a gentiles rebeldes que se rebelaron contra mí; ellos y sus padres se rebelaron contra mí, hasta este mismo día.

4 A nd the children are impudent and stiffhearted: I do sent thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah.

Y a hijos que son duros de rostro y fuertes de corazón, yo te envío, y les dirás: Así dijo el Señor DIOS.

5 A nd they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

Y ellos no oirán, ni cesarán, porque son casa rebelde; mas conocerán que hubo profeta entre ellos.

6 A nd thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

Y tú, hijo de hombre, no temas de ellos, ni tengas miedo de sus palabras, porque son rebeldes; aunque te hallas entre espinas, y tú moras con abrojos, no tengas miedo de sus palabras, ni temas delante de ellos, porque son casa rebelde.

7 A nd thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.

Les hablarás mis palabras, mas no oirán ni cesarán; porque son rebeldes.

8 B ut thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that which I give thee.

Mas tú, hijo de hombre, oye lo que yo te hablo: No seas tú rebelde como la casa rebelde; abre tu boca, y come lo que yo te doy.

9 A nd when I looked, behold, a hand was put forth unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

Y miré, y he aquí una mano me fue enviada, y en ella había un rollo de libro.

10 A nd he spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

Y lo extendió delante de mí, y estaba escrito delante y detrás; y había escritas en él endechas, y lamentaciones, y ayes.
