1 O ut of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.

2 L ord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.

Señor, oye mi voz; estén atentos tus oídos a la voz de mi oración.

3 I f thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

JAH, si retuvieres a las iniquidades, ¿Señor quién persistirá?

4 B ut there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.

Por lo cual hay perdón cerca de ti, para que seas temido.

5 I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.

¶ Esperé yo al SEÑOR, esperó mi alma; a su palabra he esperado.

6 M y soul waiteth for the Lord More than watchmen wait for the morning; Yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

Mi alma esperó al SEÑOR más que los centinelas esperan a la mañana, más que los centinelas a la mañana.

7 O Israel, hope in Jehovah; For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.

Espere Israel al SEÑOR; porque con el SEÑOR hay misericordia; y abundante redención cerca de él.

8 A nd he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

Y él rescatará a Israel de todas sus iniquidades.
