1 T e voi lăuda din toată inima mea, Te voi cânta în prezenţa dumnezeilor!

I will confess and praise You with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praises to You.

2 M ă voi închina în Templul Tău cel sfânt şi-Ţi voi lăuda Numele, pentru îndurarea Ta, pentru credincioşia Ta, pentru că Ţi-ai înălţat Numele şi cuvântul mai presus de orice.

I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!

3 Î n ziua când Te -am chemat, Tu mi-ai răspuns, m-ai îmbărbătat şi mi-ai întărit sufletul.

In the day when I called, You answered me; and You strengthened me with strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) in my inner self.

4 D oamne, toţi regii pământului Te vor lăuda când vor auzi cuvintele gurii Tale!

All the kings of the land shall give You credit and praise You, O Lord, for they have heard of the promises of Your mouth.

5 V or cânta căile Domnului, căci mare este slava Ta, Doamne!

Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord and joyfully celebrate His mighty acts, for great is the glory of the Lord.

6 D eşi este înălţat, Domnul îl vede pe cel smerit şi îl cunoaşte de departe pe cel mândru.

For though the Lord is high, yet has He respect to the lowly; but the proud and haughty He knows and recognizes at a distance.

7 C ând umblu prin mijlocul necazului, Tu mă înviorezi, Îţi întinzi mâna împotriva mâniei duşmanilor mei şi mă izbăveşti cu dreapta Ta.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.

8 D omnul va isprăvi ce a început pentru mine. Doamne, îndurarea Ta este veşnică: nu părăsi lucrările mâinilor Tale!

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever—forsake not the works of Your own hands.
