1 Î n ziua aceea şapte femei vor pune mâna pe un bărbat şi-i vor zice: «Ne vom mânca propria pâine şi ne vom purta propriile haine, numai lasă-ne să-ţi purtăm numele! Dă la o parte ocara de peste noi!» Vlăstarul Domnului

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread and provide our own apparel; only let us be called by your name to take away our reproach.

2 Î n ziua aceea Vlăstarul Domnului va fi frumos şi glorios, iar rodul ţării va fi mândria şi gloria supravieţuitorilor lui Israel.

In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and lovely to those of Israel who have escaped.

3 O ricine este lăsat în Sion şi rămâne în Ierusalim, toţi cei înscrişi ca fiind vii în Ierusalim, vor fi numiţi sfinţi.

And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem and for eternal life,

4 O dată ce Stăpânul va spăla murdăria fiicelor Sionului şi va curăţa petele de sânge din Ierusalim printr-un duh de judecată şi unul de foc,

After the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and has purged the bloodstains of Jerusalem from the midst of it by the spirit and blast of judgment and by the spirit and blast of burning and sifting.

5 D omnul va crea peste tot muntele Sion şi peste cei ce se adună acolo un nor de fum ziua şi un foc de flăcări strălucitoare noaptea. Da, peste toată slava va fi un baldachin;

And the Lord will create over the whole site, over every dwelling place of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy (a defense of divine love and protection).

6 v a fi o colibă şi o umbră în căldura zilei, un refugiu şi un loc ascuns de furtună şi ploaie.

And there shall be a pavilion for shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge and a shelter from storm and from rain.
