1 N umele seminţiilor moştenitoare sunt acestea: de la marginea de nord, de-a lungul drumului spre Hetlon, de la Lebo-Hamat spre Haţar-Enan, până la hotarul de nord al Damascului dinspre Hamat, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Dan.

Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath as far as Hazar-enan, which is on the northern border of Damascus opposite Hamath, and reaching from the east border to the west, Dan, one.

2 D e la hotarul cu Dan, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Aşer.

And beside the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one.

3 D e la hotarul cu Aşer, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Neftali.

And beside the border of Asher, from the east side to the west side, Naphtali, one.

4 D e la hotarul cu Neftali, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Manase.

And beside the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one.

5 D e la hotarul cu Manase, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Efraim.

And beside the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one.

6 D e la hotarul cu Efraim, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Ruben.

And beside the border of Ephraim, from the east side to the west side, Reuben, one.

7 D e la hotarul cu Ruben, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Iuda.

And beside the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, Judah, one.

8 D e la hotarul cu Iuda, de la răsărit la apus, să fie ţinutul sfânt adus ca dar; să aibă douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi lăţime, iar lungimea lui să fie cât una din părţile de la răsărit la apus; Lăcaşul să fie în mijlocul lui.

And beside the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the offering of land which you shall offer: 25, 000 reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the tribal portions from the east side to the west side; and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

9 D in acest dar, o suprafaţă de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi lungime şi zece mii de coţi lăţime să fie a Domnului.

The portion of land that you shall set apart and offer to the Lord shall be 25, 000 in length and 10, 000 in breadth.

10 A cest dar sfânt să fie al preoţilor: în nord să aibă o lungime de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi, în apus să aibă o lăţime de zece mii de coţi, în răsărit tot zece mii de coţi, iar în sud o lungime de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi; Lăcaşul să fie în mijlocul ţinutului.

And for these, even for the priests, shall be this holy offering of land: toward the north 25, 000 in length, and toward the west 10, 000 in breadth, and toward the east 10, 000 in breadth, and toward the south 25, 000 in length, and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst of it.

11 E l să fie dat preoţilor consacraţi, urmaşii lui Ţadok, care au păzit rânduiala Mea şi nu s-au dus în rătăcire ca leviţii, atunci când israeliţii rătăceau departe de Mine.

The set-apart and sacred portion shall be for the consecrated priests of the sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge and who did not go astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the other Levites did.

12 S ă fie al preoţilor, ca un dar din suprafaţa sfântă a ţării, un loc preasfânt lângă hotarul leviţilor.

And this land offering shall be for the priests as a thing most holy beside the border of the Levites.

13 L eviţii să aibă o parte lângă hotarul preoţilor, de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi lungime şi de zece mii de coţi lăţime; pe toată lungimea să fie de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi şi pe lăţime să fie de zece mii de coţi.

And opposite the border of the priests the Levites shall have 25, 000 in length and 10, 000 in breadth. The whole length shall be 25, 000 and the breadth 10, 000.

14 N u vor putea să vândă sau să schimbe şi nici să înstrăineze această cea mai bună parte a ţării, căci este sfântă pentru Domnul.

And they shall not sell any of it or exchange it; they shall not convey or transfer this the firstfruits of the land, for it has been offered to the Lord and is holy to Him.

15 S uprafaţa rămasă, adică cinci mii de coţi pe lăţime şi douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi pe lungime, să fie dată ca loc pentru folosul cetăţii, pentru locuinţe şi pentru păşune. Cetatea să fie în mijlocul ei.

And the remaining strip of 5, 000 in breadth and 25, 000 in length shall be for the city’s secular use, for a place in which to dwell and for open country or suburbs. The city shall be in the midst of the plot.

16 I ată care să-i fie măsurile: în partea de nord – patru mii cinci sute de coţi, în partea de sud – patru mii cinci sute, în partea de răsărit – patru mii cinci sute şi în partea de apus – patru mii cinci sute.

And these shall be the dimensions of it: the north side 4, 500 and the south side 4, 500, the east side 4, 500 and the west side 4, 500.

17 P ăşunea pentru cetate să fie de două sute cincizeci de coţi în partea de nord, două sute cincizeci în partea de sud, două sute cincizeci în partea de răsărit şi două sute cincizeci în partea de apus.

And the city shall have suburbs or open country: toward the north 250 and toward the south 250, toward the east 250 and toward the west 250.

18 P ământul care mai rămâne pe lungime, alături de ţinutul sfânt, va fi de zece mii de coţi în partea de răsărit şi zece mii în partea de apus, de-a lungul ţinutului sfânt. Recolta lui să fie folosită pentru hrana lucrătorilor cetăţii.

The remainder of the length along beside the holy portion shall be 10, 000 to the east and 10, 000 to the west, and it shall be along beside the holy portion. The produce from it shall be for food for those who work in the city.

19 L ucrătorii cetăţii, care îl vor cultiva, vor fi din toate seminţiile lui Israel.

And the workers of the city from all the tribes of Israel shall till the open land.

20 T ot ţinutul sfânt să fie de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi lungime şi douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi lăţime, o suprafaţă pătrată care cuprinde şi proprietatea cetăţii.

The whole portion that you shall set apart as an offering to God shall be 25, 000 by 25, 000; you shall set apart the holy portion foursquare, together with the property of the city.

21 C eea ce mai rămâne de-o parte şi de alta a ţinutului sfânt şi a proprietăţii cetăţii să fie a prinţului, de-a lungul celor douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi ai ţinutului sfânt până la hotarul de răsărit, iar în apus, de-a lungul celor douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi până la hotarul de apus, mergând în paralel cu proprietăţile seminţiilor. Aceste suprafeţe vor fi ale prinţului. Ţinutul sfânt şi Sanctuarul Casei să fie în mijlocul lor.

And what is left unallotted, on both sides of the holy portion and of that possessed by the city, shall belong to the prince. Reaching eastward from the 25, 000 of the holy portion to the east border, and westward from the 25, 000 to the west border, parallel to the tribal allotments, it belongs to the prince. The holy portion with the sanctuary of the temple in its midst,

22 A stfel proprietatea leviţilor şi proprietatea cetăţii vor fi în mijlocul proprietăţii prinţului. Tot ţinutul dintre hotarul lui Iuda şi hotarul lui Beniamin să fie al prinţului.

And the possession of the Levites and the property of the city shall be in the midst of that which belongs to the prince. What lies between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall be for the prince.

23 I ată celelalte seminţii moştenitoare: de la răsărit la apus, o parte să fie pentru Beniamin.

As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one.

24 D e la hotarul cu Beniamin, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Simeon.

And beside the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one.

25 D e la hotarul cu Simeon, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Isahar.

And beside the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one.

26 D e la hotarul cu Isahar, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Zabulon.

And beside the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one.

27 D e la hotarul cu Zabulon, de la răsărit la apus, să fie o parte pentru Gad.

And beside the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one.

28 D e la hotarul lui Gad, în partea de sud, hotarul să meargă spre sud, de la Tamar înspre apele de la Meribat-Kadeş şi apoi de-a lungul Râului Egiptului până la Marea cea Mare.

And beside the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall extend from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh and on along the Brook to the Great or Mediterranean Sea.

29 A ceasta este ţara pe care va trebui s-o împărţiţi prin sorţ ca moştenire seminţiilor lui Israel şi acestea sunt proprietăţile lor, zice Stăpânul Domn. Porţile Ierusalimului

This is the land which you shall divide by allotment among the tribes of Israel as their inheritance, and these are their several portions, says the Lord God.

30 I ată care vor fi ieşirile cetăţii: în partea de nord, care măsoară patru mii cinci sute de coţi,

And these shall be the exits of the city: On the north side, which is to extend 4, 500 measures,

31 v or fi trei porţi (porţile cetăţii vor purta numele seminţiilor lui Israel): o poartă pentru Ruben, o poartă pentru Iuda şi o poartă pentru Levi;

Three gates: one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi, the gates of the city being called after the names of the tribes of Israel;

32 î n partea de răsărit, care măsoară patru mii cinci sute de coţi, vor fi trei porţi: o poartă pentru Iosif, o poartă pentru Beniamin şi o poartă pentru Dan;

And on the east side’s 4, 500 measures, three gates: one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan;

33 î n partea de sud, care măsoară patru mii cinci sute de coţi, vor fi trei porţi: o poartă pentru Simeon, o poartă pentru Isahar şi o poartă pentru Zabulon;

And on the south side’s 4, 500 measures, three gates: one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun;

34 î n partea de apus, care măsoară patru mii cinci sute de coţi, vor fi trei porţi: o poartă pentru Gad, o poartă pentru Aşer şi o poartă pentru Neftali.

On the west side’s 4, 500 measures, three gates: one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.

35 D e jur împrejurul cetăţii vor fi optsprezece mii de coţi şi, din ziua aceea, numele ei va fi: « Domnul este acolo »“.

The distance around the city shall be 18, 000 measures; and the name of the city from that day and ever after shall be, the lord is there.
