1 J esus went on to the city of Jericho and was passing through it.

След това Исус влезе в Йерихон и минаваше през града.

2 T here was a rich man named Zaccheus. He was a leader of those who gathered taxes.

И, ето, един човек на име Закхей, който беше началник на бирниците и беше богат,

3 Z accheus wanted to see Jesus but he could not because so many people were there and he was a short man.

искаше да види Кой е Исус, но не можеше поради навалицата, защото беше нисък на ръст.

4 H e ran ahead and got up into a sycamore tree to see Him. Jesus was going by that way.

И се завтече напред и се покачи на една дива смокиня, за да Го види; понеже щеше да мине през онзи път.

5 W hen Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw Zaccheus. He said, “Zaccheus, come down at once. I must stay in your house today.”

Исус, като дойде на това място, погледна нагоре и му каза: Закхей, слез бързо, защото днес трябва да отседна в дома ти.

6 A t once he came down and was glad to have Jesus come to his house.

И той побърза да слезе и Го прие с радост.

7 W hen the people saw it, they began to complain among themselves. They said, “He is going to stay with a man who is known to be a sinner.”

И като видяха това, всички роптаеха и казваха: Отби се при грешен човек.

8 Z accheus stood up and said to the Lord, “Lord, see! Half of what I own I will give to poor people. And if I have taken money from anyone in a wrong way, I will pay him back four times as much.”

А Закхей стана и каза на Господа: Господи, ето, отсега давам половината от имота си на сиромасите; и ако някак съм ограбил някого, връщам му четворно.

9 J esus said to him, “Today, a person has been saved in this house. This man is a Jew also.

И Исус му каза: Днес стана спасение на този дом; защото и този е Авраамов син.

10 F or the Son of Man came to look for and to save from the punishment of sin those who are lost.” The Picture-Story of the Ten Servants and the Money

Понеже Човешкият Син дойде да потърси и да спаси погиналото. Притча за десетте слуги

11 A s they heard these things, Jesus told them a picture-story. Because He was near Jerusalem, they thought the holy nation of God would come at once.

И като слушаха това, Той продължи да говори и каза една притча, защото беше близо до Йерусалим и те си мислеха, че Божието царство веднага ще се яви.

12 S o Jesus said, “A leader of a country went to another country far away. A nation was to be given to him, then he would return home.

Затова каза: Някой си благородник отиде в далечна страна да получи за себе си царска власт и да се върне.

13 H e called ten of the servants he owned. He gave them ten pieces of money and said to them, ‘Put this money to use until I return.’

И повика десетима от слугите си и им даде десет мнаси; и им каза: Търгувайте с това, докато дойда.

14 B ut other men in his country hated him. They sent men after him to tell him they did not want him as their king.

Но неговите граждани го мразеха и изпратиха след него посланици да кажат: Не искаме този да царува над нас.

15 A fter he had been given the other nation, he returned as king. He asked for his servants who had received the money to come to him. He wanted to know how much more they had after putting it to use.

А като получи царската власт и се върна, заповяда да повикат при него онези слуги, на които бе дал парите, за да знае какво са припечелили чрез търгуване.

16 T he first one came and said, ‘Lord, the piece of money you gave me has made ten more pieces of money.’

И така, дойде първият и каза: Господарю, твоята мнаса спечели десет мнаси.

17 H e said to him, ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful in using a little. Now you will be leader over ten cities.’

И му каза: Хубаво, добър слуга! Понеже в твърде малкото се показа верен, имай власт над десет града.

18 “ The second man came to him and said, ‘Lord, the piece of money you gave me has made five more pieces of money.’

Дойде и вторият и каза: Господарю, твоята мнаса принесе пет мнаси.

19 H e said to him, ‘You are to be leader over five cities.’

А каза и на него: Бъди и ти над пет града.

20 “ Another one came saying, ‘Lord, look! Here is your piece of money. I have kept it hid in a piece of cloth.

Дойде и друг и каза: Господарю, ето твоята мнаса, която пазих скътана в кърпа,

21 I was afraid of you. You are a hard man. You take what you have not put down. You gather where you have not planted.’

защото се боях от тебе, понеже си строг човек; взимаш това, което не си положил, и жънеш, което не си посял.

22 T he king said to him, ‘By the words from your own mouth I must say that you are guilty. You are a sinful servant. You knew I was a hard man. You knew I take what I have not put down. You knew I gather where I have not planted.

Господарят му каза: От устата ти ще те съдя, зъл слуга. Знаел си, че съм строг човек, който вземам това, което не съм положил, и жъна, което не съм сял;

23 W hy did you not put my money in the bank? Then when I came back I could have had my own money and what the bank paid for using it.’

тогава защо не вложи парите ми в банката; и аз, като си дойдех, щях да ги прибера с лихвата?

24 “ Then he said to those who were standing by, ‘Take the piece of money from him and give it to the one who has ten pieces of money.’

И каза на стоящите до него: Вземете от него мнасата и я дайте на този, който има десет мнаси.

25 A nd they said to him, ‘Lord, he already has ten pieces of money.’”

(Казаха му: Господарю, той има вече десет мнаси!)

26 J esus said, “I tell you, he who has, to him will be given more. To him who does not have, even the little he has will be taken from him.

Казвам ви, че на всеки, който има, ще се даде; а от този, който няма, от него ще се отнеме и това, което има.

27 ‘ Bring here those who hated me and did not want me to be their king and kill them in front of me.’”

А онези мои неприятели, които не искаха да царувам над тях, доведете ги тук и ги посечете пред мен.

28 W hen He had finished the picture-story, He went on ahead of them up to Jerusalem. The Last Time Jesus Goes into Jerusalem

И като изрече това, Исус тръгна напред, като се изкачваше към Йерусалим. Тържественото влизане в Йерусалим

29 W hen Jesus was coming near the towns of Bethphage and Bethany by the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His followers on ahead.

И когато се приближи до Витфагия и Витания, до хълма, наречен Елеонски, прати двама от учениците и им каза:

30 H e said, “Go into the town ahead of you. There you will find a young donkey tied. No man has ever sat on it. Let it loose and bring it to Me.

Идете в селото, което е насреща ви, в което, като влизате, ще намерите едно вързано осле, което никой човек не е възсядал; отвържете го и го докарайте.

31 I f anyone asks you, ‘Why are you letting it loose?’ say to him, ‘Because the Lord needs it.’”

И ако някой ви попита: Защо го отвързвате?, кажете така: На Господа трябва.

32 T hose who were sent found everything as Jesus had told them.

И изпратените отидоха и намериха всичко, както им бе казал.

33 A s they were letting the young donkey loose, the owners said to them, “Why are you letting the young donkey loose?”

И като отвързваха ослето, стопаните попитаха: Защо отвързвате ослето?

34 T hey answered, “The Lord needs it.”

А те отвърнаха: На Господа трябва.

35 T hen they brought it to Jesus. They put their coats on the donkey and they put Jesus on it.

И го докараха при Исус; и като намятаха дрехите си на ослето, качиха Исус.

36 A s Jesus was going, they put their coats down on the road.

И когато Той минаваше, хората постилаха дрехите си по пътя.

37 J esus was near the city and ready to go down the Mount of Olives. The many people who were following Him began to sing with loud voices and give thanks for all the powerful works they had seen.

А когато вече се приближаваше до превала на Елеонския хълм, цялото множество ученици почнаха да се радват и велегласно да славят Бога за всички велики дела, които бяха видели, и казваха:

38 T hey said, “Great and honored is the King Who comes in the name of the Lord. There is peace and greatness in the highest heaven.”

Благословен Царят, Който иде в Господнето име! Мир на небето и слава във висините!

39 S ome of the proud religious law-keepers who were in among the people said to Jesus, “Teacher, speak sharp words to Your followers.”

А някои фарисеи от множеството Му казаха: Учителю, смъмри учениците Си.

40 J esus said to them, “I tell you that if these did not speak, the very stones would call out.” Jesus Cried as He Saw Jerusalem

И Той отговори: Казвам ви, че ако тези млъкнат, то камъните ще извикат.

41 W hen Jesus came near the city, He cried as He saw it.

И като се приближи и видя града, плака за него и каза:

42 H e said, “If you had only known on this great day the things that make peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

Ех, ако ти бе познал поне в този ден това, което служи за мира ти! Но сега това е скрито от очите ти.

43 T he time is coming when those who hate you will dig earth and throw it up around you making a wall. They will shut you in from every side.

Защото ще настанат за тебе дни, когато твоите неприятели ще издигнат валове около тебе, ще те обсадят, ще те притиснат отвред

44 T hey will destroy you and your children with you. There will not be one stone on another. It is because you did not know when God visited you.” Jesus Stops the Buying and Selling in the House of God

и ще те разорят, и ще избият жителите ти в теб, и няма да оставят в тебе камък върху камък; защото ти не разпозна времето, когато беше посетен.

45 J esus went into the house of God. He made those leave who were buying and selling there.

И като влезе в храма, започна да пъди онези, които продаваха; и им казваше: Изгонването на търговците от храма

46 H e said to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer.’ ‘But you have made it a place of robbers.’”

Писано е: "И домът Ми ще бъде молитвен дом"; а вие го направихте "разбойнически вертеп".

47 J esus taught each day in the house of God. But the religious leaders and the teachers of the Law and other leaders of the people tried to think of some way they could kill Him.

И поучаваше всеки ден в храма. А главните свещеници, книжниците и водачите на народа се стараеха да Го погубят.

48 T hey could not find a way because the people were always near Him listening to Him teach.

Но не намериха какво да направят, понеже целият народ се прилепваше към Него и Го слушаше.
