1 J esus saw many people. He went up on the mountain and sat down. His followers came to Him.

А Исус, като видя множествата, изкачи се на хълма; и когато седна, учениците Му дойдоха при Него.

2 H e began to teach them, saying,

И като отвори устата Си, поучаваше ги, като казваше:

3 “ Those who know there is nothing good in themselves are happy, because the holy nation of heaven is theirs.

Блажени бедните по дух, защото е тяхно небесното царство.

4 T hose who have sorrow are happy, because they will be comforted.

Блажени скърбящите, защото те ще се утешат.

5 T hose who have no pride in their hearts are happy, because the earth will be given to them.

Блажени кротките, защото те ще наследят земята.

6 T hose who are hungry and thirsty to be right with God are happy, because they will be filled.

Блажени, които гладуват и жадуват за правдата, защото те ще се наситят.

7 T hose who show loving-kindness are happy, because they will have loving-kindness shown to them.

Блажени милостивите, защото на тях ще се показва милост.

8 T hose who have a pure heart are happy, because they will see God.

Блажени чистите по сърце, защото те ще видят Бога.

9 T hose who make peace are happy, because they will be called the sons of God.

Блажени миротворците, защото те ще се нарекат Божии синове.

10 T hose who have it very hard for doing right are happy, because the holy nation of heaven is theirs.

Блажени гонените заради правдата, защото е тяхно небесното царство.

11 Y ou are happy when people act and talk in a bad way to you and make it very hard for you and tell bad things and lies about you because you trust in Me.

Блажени сте, когато ви хулят и ви гонят, и говорят против вас лъжливо всякакво зло заради Мене;

12 B e glad and full of joy because your reward will be much in heaven. They made it very hard for the early preachers who lived a long time before you. Jesus Teaches about Salt and Light

радвайте се и се веселете, защото голяма е наградата ви на небесата, понеже така гониха пророците, които бяха преди вас. Сол и светлина за света

13 “ You are the salt of the earth. If salt loses its taste, how can it be made to taste like salt again? It is no good. It is thrown away and people walk on it.

Вие сте солта на земята. Но ако солта обезсолее, с какво ще се осоли? Тя вече за нищо не става, освен да се изхвърли навън и да се тъпче от хората.

14 Y ou are the light of the world. You cannot hide a city that is on a mountain.

Вие сте светлината на света. Град, поставен на хълм, не може да се укрие.

15 M en do not light a lamp and put it under a basket. They put it on a table so it gives light to all in the house.

И когато запалят светило, не го слагат под шиника, а на светилника и то свети на всички, които са в къщи.

16 L et your light shine in front of men. Then they will see the good things you do and will honor your Father Who is in heaven. Jesus Teaches about the Law

Също така нека свети вашата светлина пред човеците, за да виждат добрите ви дела и да прославят вашия Отец, Който е на небесата. Исус Христос и законът

17 “ Do not think that I have come to do away with the Law of Moses or the writings of the early preachers. I have not come to do away with them but to complete them.

Да не мислите, че съм дошъл да разруша закона или пророците? Не съм дошъл да разруша, но да изпълня.

18 I tell you, as long as heaven and earth last, not one small mark or part of a word will pass away of the Law of Moses until it has all been done.

Защото истина ви казвам: Докато премине небето и земята, нито една йота, нито една чертица от закона няма да премине, докато всичко не се сбъдне.

19 A nyone who breaks even the least of the Law of Moses and teaches people not to do what it says, will be called the least in the holy nation of heaven. He who obeys and teaches others to obey what the Law of Moses says, will be called great in the holy nation of heaven.

И така, който наруши една от тези най-малки заповеди и научи така човеците, най-малък ще се нарече в небесното царство; а който ги изпълни и научи така човеците, той ще се нарече велик в небесното царство.

20 I tell you, unless you are more right with God than the teachers of the Law and the proud religious law-keepers, you will never get into the holy nation of heaven. Jesus Teaches about Anger and Killing

Защото ви казвам, че ако вашата праведност не надмине праведността на книжниците и фарисеите, няма да влезете в небесното царство.

21 “ You have heard that men were told long ago, ‘You must not kill another person. If someone does kill, he will be guilty and will be punished for his wrong-doing.’

Чули сте, че е било казано на древните: "Не убивай; и който убие, ще бъде виновен пред съда."

22 B ut I tell you that whoever is angry with his brother will be guilty and have to suffer for his wrong-doing. Whoever says to his brother, ‘You have no brains,’ will have to stand in front of the court. Whoever says, ‘You fool,’ will be sent to the fire of hell.

А пък Аз ви казвам, че всеки, който се гневи на брат си без причина, ще бъде виновен пред съда; и който каже на брат си Рака, ще бъде виновен пред Синедриона; а който му каже: Бунтовни безумецо, ще бъде виновен за огнения пъкъл.

23 I f you take your gift to the altar and remember your brother has something against you,

И така, като принасяш дара си на олтара, ако там си спомниш, че брат ти има нещо против теб,

24 l eave your gift on the altar. Go and make right what is wrong between you and him. Then come back and give your gift.

остави дара си там, пред олтара, и първо иди и се помири с брат си, и тогава ела, и принеси дара си.

25 A gree with the one who is against you while you are talking together, or he might take you to court. The court will hand you over to the police. You will be put in prison.

Бързай да се сдобриш с противника си, докато си на пътя с него към съдилището, да не би противникът ти да те предаде на съдията, а съдията да те предаде на служителя и да бъдеш хвърлен в тъмница.

26 F or sure, I tell you, you will not be let out of prison until you have paid every piece of money of the fine. Jesus Teaches about Husband and Wife

Истина ти казвам: Няма да излезеш оттам, докато не изплатиш и последния кодрант.

27 “ You have heard that it was said long ago, ‘You must not do sex sins.’

Чули сте, че е било казано: "Не прелюбодействай."

28 B ut I tell you, anyone who even looks at a woman with a sinful desire of wanting her has already sinned in his heart.

Но Аз ви казвам, че всеки, който гледа жена, за да я пожелае, вече е прелюбодействал с нея в сърцето си.

29 I f your right eye is the reason you sin, take it out and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

Ако дясното ти око те съблазнява, извади го и го хвърли; защото по-добре е за тебе да погине една от телесните ти части, а не цялото ти тяло да бъде хвърлено в пъкъла.

30 I f your right hand is the reason you sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go to hell. Jesus Teaches about Marriage

И ако дясната ти ръка те съблазнява, отсечи я и я хвърли; защото по-добре е за тебе да погине една от телесните ти части, а не цялото ти тяло да отиде в пъкъла.

31 “ It has been said, ‘Whoever wants to divorce his wife should have it put in writing, telling her he is leaving her.’

Още е било казано: "Който напусне жена си, нека ѝ даде разводно писмо."

32 B ut I tell you, whoever divorces his wife except if she has not been faithful to him, makes her guilty of a sex sin. Whoever marries a woman who has been divorced is guilty of a sex sin. Jesus Teaches about What to Say

А пък Аз ви казвам, че всеки, който напусне жена си, освен по причина на прелюбодейство, прави я да прелюбодейства; и който се ожени за нея, когато бъде напусната, той прелюбодейства.

33 “ You have heard that it was said long ago, ‘You must not make a promise you cannot keep. You must carry out your promises to the Lord.’

Чули сте още, че е било казано на древните: "Не нарушавай клетвата си, но изпълнявай клетвите си пред Господа."

34 I tell you, do not use strong words when you make a promise. Do not promise by heaven. It is the place where God is.

Но Аз ви казвам: Изобщо да не се кълнете; нито в небето, защото то е престол на Бога;

35 D o not promise by earth. It is where He rests His feet. Do not promise by Jerusalem. It is the city of the great King.

нито в земята, защото е Негово подножие; нито в Йерусалим, защото е град на великия Цар.

36 D o not promise by your head. You are not able to make one hair white or black.

Нито в главата си да се кълнеш, защото не можеш да направиш нито един косъм бял или черен.

37 L et your yes be YES. Let your no be NO. Anything more than this comes from the devil. Jesus Teaches about Fighting

Но говорът ви да бъде: Да, да! Не, не! А каквото е повече от това, е от лукавия.

38 “ You have heard that it has been said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’

Чули сте, че е било казано: "Око за око, зъб за зъб."

39 B ut I tell you, do not fight with the man who wants to fight. Whoever hits you on the right side of the face, turn so he can hit the other side also.

А пък Аз ви казвам: Не се противете на злия човек; но ако те удари някой по дясната буза, обърни му и другата.

40 I f any person takes you to court to get your shirt, give him your coat also.

На този, който би поискал да се съди с теб и да ти вземе ризата, остави му и горната си дреха.

41 W hoever makes you walk a short way, go with him twice as far.

Който те принуди да вървиш с него една миля, иди с него две.

42 G ive to any person who asks you for something. Do not say no to the man who wants to use something of yours. Jesus Teaches about Loving Those Who Hate You

Дай на този, който проси от теб; и не се отвръщай от онзи, който ти иска на заем.

43 “ You have heard that it has been said, ‘You must love your neighbor and hate those who hate you.’

Чули сте, че е било казано: "Обичай ближния си, а мрази неприятеля си."

44 B ut I tell you, love those who hate you. (Respect and give thanks for those who say bad things to you. Do good to those who hate you.) Pray for those who do bad things to you and who make it hard for you.

Но Аз ви казвам: Обичайте неприятелите си и се молете за онези, които ви гонят,

45 T hen you may be the sons of your Father Who is in heaven. His sun shines on bad people and on good people. He sends rain on those who are right with God and on those who are not right with God.

за да бъдете синове на вашия Отец, Който е на небесата; защото Той прави слънцето Си да изгрява и над злите, и над добрите и дава дъжд на праведните и на неправедните.

46 I f you love those who love you, what reward can you expect from that? Do not even the tax-gatherers do that?

Защото ако обичате само онези, които обичат вас, каква награда ви се пада? Не правят ли това и бирниците?

47 I f you say hello only to the people you like, are you doing any more than others? The people who do not know God do that much.

И ако поздравявате само братята си, какво особено правите? Не правят ли това и езичниците?

48 Y ou must be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.

И така, бъдете съвършени и вие, както е съвършен вашият небесен Отец.
