1 N ow it happened that while the crowd was pressing around Him and listening to the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret;

А веднъж, когато множеството Го притискаше да слуша Божието слово, Той стоеше при Генисаретското езеро.

2 a nd He saw two boats lying at the edge of the lake; but the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing their nets.

И видя две ладии, които стояха край езерото; а рибарите бяха излезли от тях и изпираха мрежите си.

3 A nd He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little way from the land. And He sat down and began teaching the people from the boat.

И като влезе в една от ладиите, която беше на Симон, помоли го да я отдалечи малко от сушата; и седна и поучаваше множеството от ладията.

4 W hen He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”

След като престана да говори, каза на Симон: Оттегли ладията към дълбокото и хвърлете мрежите за улов.

5 S imon answered and said, “ Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets.”

А Симон отговори: Учителю, цяла нощ се трудихме и нищо не уловихме; но щом казваш, ще хвърля мрежите.

6 W hen they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break;

И като направиха това, уловиха твърде много риба, така че мрежите им се прокъсваха.

7 s o they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.

И извикаха съдружниците си от другата ладия да им дойдат на помощ; и те дойдоха и напълниха и двете ладии - дотолкова, че щяха да потънат.

8 B ut when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus’ feet, saying, “Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man!”

А Симон Петър, като видя това, падна в краката на Исус и каза: Иди си от мене, Господи, защото съм грешен човек.

9 F or amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken;

Понеже той и всички, които бяха с него, се смаяха от улова на рибите, които хванаха,

10 a nd so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “ Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men.”

също и Яков и Йоан, синове на Зеведей, които бяха Симонови съдружници. А Исус каза на Симон: Не бой се; отсега нататък ще ловиш човеци.

11 W hen they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him. The Leper and the Paralytic

И когато извлякоха ладиите на сушата, оставиха всичко и отидоха след Него. Излекуването на прокажения

12 W hile He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

И когато беше в един от градовете, ето, един човек, който целият беше прокажен, като видя Исус, падна на лицето си и Му се помоли с думите: Господи, ако искаш, можеш да ме очистиш.

13 A nd He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him.

А Той простря ръка и се допря до него, и каза: Искам; бъди очистен. И веднага проказата го остави.

14 A nd He ordered him to tell no one, “But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

И Той му заръча да не казва на никого за това: Но за свидетелство на тях иди и се покажи на свещеника, и принеси за очистването си, както е заповядал Моисей.

15 B ut the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.

Но вестта за Него още повече се разнасяше; и големи множества се събираха да слушат и да се изцеляват от болестите си.

16 B ut Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

А Той се оттегляше в усамотени места и се молеше. Излекуването на парализирания

17 O ne day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.

И през един от тези дни, когато Той поучаваше, там седяха фарисеи и законоучители, надошли от всяко село на Галилея, Юдея и от Йерусалим; и Господнята сила беше с Него да изцелява.

18 A nd some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.

И, ето, мъже, които носеха на постелка един болен човек, който беше парализиран; и се опитаха да го внесат вътре и да го сложат пред Него.

19 B ut not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.

Но понеже не намериха откъде да го внесат вътре поради навалицата, качиха се на покрива и през покрива го спуснаха с постелката на средата пред Исус.

20 S eeing their faith, He said, “ Friend, your sins are forgiven you.”

И Той, като видя вярата им, каза: Човече, прощават ти се греховете.

21 T he scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?”

Тогава книжниците и фарисеите започнаха да разискват думите Му, като казваха: Кой е Този, Който богохулства? Кой може да прощава грехове освен един Бог?

22 B ut Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?

Но Исус, като видя разискванията им, им отговори: За какво размишлявате в сърцата си?

23 W hich is easier, to say, ‘Your sins have been forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’?

Кое е по-лесно да кажа: Прощават ти се греховете, или да кажа: Стани и ходи?

24 B ut, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” —He said to the paralytic— “I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home.”

Но за да познаете, че Човешкият Син има власт на земята да прощава грехове (каза на паралитика): Казвам ти: Стани, вдигни постелката си и иди у дома си.

25 I mmediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.

И начаса той стана пред тях, вдигна това, на което лежеше, и отиде у дома си, като славеше Бога.

26 T hey were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen remarkable things today.” Call of Levi (Matthew)

И те всички се смаяха и славеха Бога, и изпълнени със страх, казваха: Днес видяхме удивителни неща. Призоваването на бирника Левий

27 A fter that He went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, “Follow Me.”

След това Исус, като излезе, видя един бирник на име Левий, който седеше в бирничеството, и му каза: Върви след Мене.

28 A nd he left everything behind, and got up and began to follow Him.

Той остави всичко, стана и тръгна след Него.

29 A nd Levi gave a big reception for Him in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.

А Левий приготви за Него голямо угощение в къщата си; и имаше голямо множество бирници и други, които седяха на трапезата с тях.

30 T he Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”

А фарисеите и техните книжници роптаеха против учениците Му и казваха: Защо ядете и пиете с бирниците и грешниците?

31 A nd Jesus answered and said to them, “ It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.

Исус им отговори: Здравите нямат нужда от лекар, а болните.

32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”

Не съм дошъл да призова праведните, но грешните към покаяние. Исус отговаря на книжниците и фарисеите

33 A nd they said to Him, “ The disciples of John often fast and offer prayers, the disciples of the Pharisees also do the same, but Yours eat and drink.”

И те Му казаха: Йоановите ученици често постят и се молят, също и учениците на фарисеите, а Твоите ядат и пият.

34 A nd Jesus said to them, “You cannot make the attendants of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?

Исус им каза: Можете ли да накарате сватбарите да постят, докато младоженецът е с тях?

35 B ut the days will come; and when the bridegroom is taken away from them, then they will fast in those days.”

Ще дойдат обаче дни, когато младоженецът ще бъде отнет от тях; тогава, през онези дни, ще постят.

36 A nd He was also telling them a parable: “No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.

Каза им още и притча: Никой не отдира парче от нова дреха, за да го пришие на вехта дреха; иначе и новата дреха се съдира, и кръпката от новата не отива на вехтата.

37 A nd no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined.

И никой не налива ново вино в стари мехове; защото новото вино ще пръсне меховете - и то самото ще изтече, и меховете ще се изхабят.

38 B ut new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.

Но трябва да се налива ново вино в нови мехове.

39 A nd no one, after drinking old wine wishes for new; for he says, ‘The old is good enough.’”

И никой, след като е пил старото вино, не иска ново, защото казва: Старото е по-хубаво.
