¶ Sing aloud unto God our strength; make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

2 З апейте псалом и звънете тъпанче, Благозвучна арфа и псалтир.

Take the song and play the timbrel, the harp of joy with the psaltery.

3 З асвирете с тръба на новолуние, На пълнолуние, в деня на нашия празник.

Blow the shofar in the new moon in the time appointed on our solemn feast day.

4 З ащото това е закон за Израиля, Наредба от Якововия Бог.

For this is a statute of Israel and an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

5 Т ой го заповяда за заявление всред Иосифа. Когато излезе против Египетската земя, <Гдето> чух език, който не познавах.

This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt where I heard a language that I did not understand.

6 О тстраних рамото му изпод товар; Ръцете му се отърваха от кош.

I removed his shoulder from the burden; his hands were delivered from working with clay.

7 В скръбно време ти <ме> призова, и Аз те избавих; Отговорих ти в скришно <място> на гърма; Изпитах те при водите на Мерива. (Села).

Thou didst call in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

8 С лушайте, люде Мои, и ще заявя пред вас, Израилю, ако би Ме послушал:

¶ Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee; O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me,

9 Д а няма всред тебе чужди богове, И да се не поклониш на чужд бог,

no strange god shall be in thee, neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

10 А з съм Господ твоят Бог. Който те възведох из Египетската земя; Отвори широко устата си, и ще ги изпълня.

I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt; open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

11 Н о людете Ми не послушаха гласа Ми; Израил не Ме искаше.

But my people did not hearken to my voice, and Israel did not love me.

12 З атова ги оставих да вървят по упорството на сърцето си, За да ходят по своите си намерения.

So I gave them up unto the hardness of their heart, and they walked in their own counsels.

13 Д ано Ме бяха слушали людете Ми, Да беше ходил Израил по Моите пътища!

Oh, if my people would hearken unto me and Israel would walk in my ways!

14 С коро бих покорил неприятелите им, И срещу противниците им бих обърнал ръката Си,

I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their adversaries.

15 & lt;Даже> ненавистниците на Господа щяха да се преструват за покорни Нему; <А благоденственото> време на тия щеше да трае за винаги;

The haters of the LORD would have submitted themselves unto him, and their time would endure for ever.

16 И Той щеше да ги храни с най-изрядната пшеница; И с мед от скала щях да те наситя.

And God would have fed them also the finest of the wheat, and with honey out of the rock I would have satisfied thee.
