1 И рекох: Слушайте сега, първенци Яковови, И началници на Израилевия дом: Не трябва ли вие да знаете правосъдието, -

¶ And I said, Hear, I pray you, O princes of Jacob, and ye heads of the house of Israel. Did it not pertain to you to know that which is right?

2 В ие, които мразите доброто и обичате злото, Които одирате кожата от <хората>. И месото от костите им, -

Who hate the good, and love the evil, who steal their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;

3 К оито изяждате месото на людете Ми, И дерете кожата от тях, - Които трошите костите им, И ги насичате като за котел, И като месо за в гърнето?

and eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones and chop them in pieces as for the pot and as flesh within the caldron.

4 Т огава ще извикат към Господа, но няма да ги послуша, Дори ще скрие лицето Си от тях в онова време, Както и те се обходиха зле в делата си.

Then they shall cry unto the LORD, but he will not respond to them: he will even hide his face from them at that time because of their evil doings.

5 Т ака казва Господ За пророците, които заблуждават людете Ми, - Които, докато хапят със зъбите си, викат - Мир! Но, ако не тури някой <нещо> в устата им Обявяват война против него;

Thus hath the LORD said concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that does not give them something to eat, they even prepare war against him.

6 З атова ще ви бъде нощ, та да нямате видение, И ще ви бъде тъмно, та да не прокобявате, Слънцето ще залезе за пророците, И денят ще се смрачи над тях.

Therefore the vision shall be made night unto you, and darkness unto those that divine, and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.

7 Т огава гледачите ще се засрамят, И чародеите ще се смутят; Да! те всички ще се покрият до горната си устна, Защото няма отговор от Бога.

Then the prophets shall be ashamed, and the diviners confounded; and they shall all cover their lips because they shall have no answer from God.

8 Н о аз наистина съм пълен със сила, Със съдба, и с мощ чрез Духа Господен, За да изявя на Якова престъплението му, И на Израиля греха му.

¶ But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his rebellion, and to Israel his sin.

9 С лушайте прочее това, първенци на Якововия дом, И началници на Израилевия дом, Които се гнусите от правосъдие, И извращате всяка правота, -

Now hear this, ye heads of the house of Jacob and captains of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment and pervert all equity;

10 К оито градите Сион с кръв, И Ерусалим с беззаконие, -

that build up Zion with blood and Jerusalem with iniquity;

11 Н а които първенците съдят за подкупи, Свещениците му учат за заплата, И пророците му чародействуват за пари, И пак се облягат на Господа, и казват: Не е ли Господ всред нас? Никакво зло няма да ни сполети;

the heads thereof judge for bribes, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet they come near unto the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? No evil can come upon us.

12 З атова поради вас Сион ще се изоре като нива, Ерусалим ще стане грамади <развалини>, И хълмът на дома <Господен >като високи места на лес.

Therefore for your sake Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
