1 И Господ говори на Моисея и Аарона, като им каза:

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

2 Г оворете на израилтяните, казвайки: Ето животните, които можете да ядете измежду всичките животни, които са по земята.

Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, These are the animals which ye shall eat among all the animals that are on the earth.

3 И змежду животните всяко що има раздвоени копита и е с разцепени копита, и преживя, него да ядете.

Whatever divides the hoof and is clovenfooted and chews the cud, among the animals, that shall you eat.

4 О баче от ония, които преживят, или от ония, които имат раздвоени копита, да не ядете следните: камилата, защото преживя, но няма раздвоени копита; тя е нечиста за вас;

Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of those that chew the cud or of those that divide the hoof: the camel because it chews the cud but divides not the hoof; it is unclean unto you.

5 п итомния заек, защото преживя, но няма раздвоени копита, той е нечист за вас;

And the coney because it chews the cud, but divides not the hoof: it is unclean unto you.

6 д ивия заек, защото преживя, но няма раздвоени копита; той е нечист за вас;

And the hare because it chews the cud, but divides not the hoof: it is unclean unto you.

7 и свинята, защото има раздвоени копита, и е с разцепени копита, но не преживя; тя е нечиста за вас.

And the swine though it divides the hoof and is clovenfooted, yet it chews not the cud: it is unclean to you.

8 О т тяхното месо да не ядете, и до мършата им да не се допирате; те са нечисти за вас.

Of their flesh ye shall not eat, and their carcase you shall not touch: they are unclean to you.

9 И змежду всичките, които са във водите, да ядете следните: всички във водите, които имат перки и люспи, в моретата и в реките, тях да ядете.

¶ These shall you eat of all that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, those shall you eat.

10 А измежду всичко, което се движи във водите, и измежду всяко одушевено животно, което е във водите, всички в моретата и в реките, които нямат перки и люспи, те са отвратителни за вас.

But all that have not fins and scales in the seas and in the rivers, of any reptile in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you;

11 Н епременно да бъдат отвратителни за вас; от месото им да не ядете, и от мършата им да се отвращавате.

they shall be an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, and ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.

12 В сичко във водите, което няма ни перки ни люспи, да бъде отвратително за вас.

Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

13 И змежду птиците да се отвращавате от следните; да се не ядат, <понеже> са отвратителни: орелът, грифата, морският орел,

And these ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they shall be an abomination: the eagle, the ossifrage, the ospray,

14 п илякът, соколът по видовете му,

the vulture, and the kite according to his species,

15 в сяка врана по видовете й,

every raven according to his species,

16 к амилоптицата, бухалът, кукувицата, ястребът по видовете му,

the owl, the night hawk, the cuckow, and the hawk according to his species;

17 м алкият бухал, рибарят, ибисът,

the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl,

18 л ебедът, пеликанът, лешоядът,

the swan, the pelican, the gier eagle,

19 щ ъркът, цаплята по видовете й, папунякът и прилепът.

the stork, the heron according to her species, the lapwing, and the bat.

20 В сички крилати пълзящи, които ходят на четири нозе, да бъдат отвратителни за вас.

¶ Every flying insect that creeps, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.

21 О баче измежду всичките пълзящи крилати, можете да ядете ония, които, като ходят на четири нозе имат пищяли над нозете си, за да скачат с тях по земята.

Yet these may ye eat of every flying insect that goes upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap with them upon the earth;

22 И змежду тях можете да ядете следните: скакалеца по видовете му, солама по видовете му, харгола по видовете му, и акридата по видовете й.

these of them ye may eat: the locust according to his species and the bald locust according to his species and the beetle according to his species and the grasshopper according to his species.

23 А всички <други> крилати пълзящи, които имат четири нозе, да бъдат отвратителни за вас.

But all other flying insects, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

24 О т тях ще бъдат нечисти: всеки, който се допира до мършата им, ще бъде нечист до вечерта;

And for these ye shall be unclean: whoever touches their carcase shall be unclean until the evening.

25 и всеки, който понесе нещо от мършата им, да изпере дрехите си, и да бъде нечист до вечерта.

And whoever bears any part of their carcase shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

26 В сяко животно що има раздвоени копита, но не е с разцепени копита нито преживя, е нечисто за вас; всеки, който се допира до такова, ще бъде нечист.

The carcasses of every animal which divides the hoof and is not clovenfooted, nor chews the cud, are unclean unto you; everyone that touches them shall be unclean.

27 И измежду всичките четвероноги животни, ония, които ходят на лапите си, ще бъдат нечисти за вас; всеки, който се допира до мършата им, ще бъде нечист до вечерта.

And of all the animals that go on all four, any that walk upon their paws are unclean unto you; whoever touches their carcase shall be unclean until the evening.

28 И който понесе мършата им нека изпере дрехите си, и да бъде нечист до вечерта; те са нечисти за вас.

And he that bears their carcase shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; they are unclean unto you.

29 И змежду пълзящите, които пълзят по земята, следните да бъдат нечисти за вас: невестулката, мишката, гущерът по видовете му,

These also shall be unclean unto you among the animals that creep upon the earth: the weasel and the mouse and the frog according to his species

30 я щерът, ящерицата, саврата, самиамитът и хамелионът.

and the ferret and the lizard and the snail and the slug and the mole.

31 Т ия са, които са нечисти за вас измежду всичките пълзящи; всеки, който се допира до мършата им, ще бъде нечист до вечерта.

These are unclean to you among all the animals; whoever touches them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the evening.

32 И всяко нещо, върху което те биха паднали мъртви, ще бъде нечисто: било дървен съд, дреха, кожа, вретище, или какъв да е съд, който се употребява в работа, всеки трябва да се тури във вода, и ще бъде нечист до вечерта; тогава ще бъде чист.

And everything upon which any of them falls when they are dead shall be unclean, whether it be any vessel of wood or clothing or skin or sack, whatever instrument with which work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; and thus it shall be cleansed.

33 И ако някое от тях падне в някой пръстен съд, то всичко що е вътре в него ще бъде нечисто; а него да строшите.

And every earthen vessel into which any of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break the vessel.

34 В сяка храна< в него>, която се яде, върху която се сипва вода, <когато се сготви>, ще бъде нечиста; и всяко питие, което се пие, във всеки такъв съд ще бъде нечисто.

All food which may be eaten upon which shall come water from any such vessel shall be unclean; and any drink that may be drunk shall be unclean in every such vessel.

35 К аквото и да било нещо, върху което би паднало нещо от мършата им, ще бъде нечисто; било пещ или огнище, трябва да се строшат; нечисти са, и нечисти ще бъдат за вас.

And everything upon which any part of their carcase falls shall be unclean: the oven or the chimney shall be broken down, for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.

36 О баче извор или кладенец, гдето има събрана вода, ще си бъде чист; но каквото се допре до мършата на тия <животни> ще бъде нечисто.

Nevertheless a fountain or cistern where water is collected shall be clean; but that which touches their carcase shall be unclean.

37 Н о ако падне нещо от мършата им върху някое семе за сеене, което ще се посее, то си е чисто.

And if any part of their carcase falls upon any sown seed which is sown, it shall be clean.

38 О баче, ако са полели семето с вода, и падне нещо от мършата им на него, тогава е нечисто за вас.

But if any water is put upon the seed and any part of their carcase falls thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.

39 А ко умре някое от животните, които бива да ядете, който се допре до мършата му ще бъде нечист до вечерта.

And if any animal of which ye may eat dies, he that touches the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the evening;

40 И който яде от мършата му трябва да изпере дрехите си, и ще бъде нечист до вечерта; и който понесе мършата му нека изпере дрехите си, и ще бъде нечист до вечерта.

and he that eats of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; likewise he that bears the carcase of it shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

41 В сяка гадина, която пълзи по земята, е отвратителна; да ги не ядете.

And every reptile that creeps upon the earth is an abomination; it shall not be eaten.

42 В сичко, което се влачи по корема си, и всичко, което ходи на четири нозе, или всичко, което има много нозе, сиреч, всички гадини, които пълзят по земята, - тях да не ядете, защото са отвратителни.

Whatever goes upon the belly and whatever goes upon four or more feet among all reptiles that creep upon the earth, ye shall not eat; for it is abomination.

43 Д а се не омърсите с никакви пълзящи гадини, нито да се оскверните с тях, та да бъдете нечисти чрез тях.

¶ Ye shall not defile your souls with any reptile that creeps, neither shall ye contaminate yourselves with them, that ye should be unclean with them.

44 З ащото Аз съм Иеова, вашият Бог; осветете се, прочее, и бъдете свети, понеже Аз съм свет; и да се не оскверните с никаква гадина пълзяща по земята.

For I am the LORD your God; ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy; neither shall ye defile your souls with any reptile that moves upon the earth.

45 З ащото Аз съм Господ, който ви изведох из Египетската земя, за да ви бъда Бог; бъдете, прочее, свети, защото Аз съм свет.

For I am the LORD that causes you to come up out of the land of Egypt to be your God; ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

46 Т ова е законът за животните, за птиците, за всяко одушевено, което се движи във водите, и за всяко одушевено, което пълзи по земята,

This is the law of the animals and of the fowls and of every living creature that moves in the waters and of every animal that creeps upon the earth:

47 з а да правите разлика между чистото и нечистото, и между одушевеното, което бива да се яде, и одушевеното, което не бива да се яде.

to make a difference between the unclean and the clean and between the animals that may be eaten and the animals that may not be eaten.
