1 А Аароновите синове, Надав и Авиуд, взеха всеки кадилницата си и, като туриха в тях огън и на него туриха темян, принесоха чужд огън пред Господа, - нещо което им беше запретил.

¶ And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took each of them his censer and put fire therein and put incense thereon and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he had never commanded them.

2 З а това огън излезе от пред Господа и ги пояде; и умряха пред Господа.

And there went out fire from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

3 Т огава рече Моисей на Аарона: Това е, което говори Господ, като каза: Аз ще се осветя в ония, които се приближават при Мене, и ще се прославя пред всичките люде. А Аарон мълчеше.

¶ Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is what the LORD spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in those that come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron was silent.

4 И Моисей повика Мисаила и Елисафана, синовете на Аароновия стрика Озиил, и рече им: Пристъпете, вдигнете братята си отпред светилището и изнесете ги вън от стана.

And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.

5 Т е, прочее, пристъпиха и ги изнесоха с хитоните им вън от стана, според както рече Моисей.

So they went near and carried them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses had said.

6 Т огава каза Моисей на Аарона и на синовете му Елеазара и Итамара: Главите си да не откриете, и дрехите си да не раздерете, за да не умрете и да не дойде гняв на цялото общество; но за изгарянето, което подклади Господ, нека плачат братята ви, целият Израилев дом.

Then Moses said unto Aaron and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Do not uncover your heads, neither rend your clothes lest ye die and lest wrath come upon the whole congregation; but your brethren, the whole house of Israel, shall lament the burning which the LORD has done.

7 И да не излезете от входа на шатъра за срещане, за да не умрете; защото мирото за Господното помазване е на вас. И те направиха според както каза Моисей.

And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, lest ye die; for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

8 С лед това Господ говори на Аарона, казвайки:

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, saying,

9 К огато влизате в шатъра за срещане, да не пиете вино или спиртни питиета, ни ти ни синовете ти с тебе, за да не умрете; това ще бъде вечен закон във всичките ви поколения,

Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee when ye go into the tabernacle of the testimony, lest ye die; it shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations;

10 к акто за да разпознавате между свето и мръсно и между нечисто и чисто,

and this is that ye may discern between the holy and the profane and between the unclean and the clean

11 т ака и за да учите израилтяните всичките повеления, които Господ им е говорил чрез Моисея.

and that ye may teach the sons of Israel all the statutes which the LORD has spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

12 П осле Моисей каза на Аарона и на останалите му синове Елеазара и Итамара: Вземете хлебния принос, който е останал от Господните чрез огън жертви, и яжте го безквасен при олтара, защото е пресвет,

¶ And Moses spoke unto Aaron and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the present that remains of the offerings on fire unto the LORD and eat it without leaven beside the altar; for it is most holy:

13 и трябва да го ядете на свето място, понеже това е твоето право и правото на синовете ти от Господните чрез огън жертви; защото така ми биде заповядано.

Ye must, therefore, eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due and thy sons’ due of the offerings of the LORD on fire; for so I am commanded.

14 С ъщо и гърдите на движимия принос и бедрото на <този> за издигане трябва да ядете на чисто място, ти, синовете ти и дъщерите ти с тебе; защото това е дадено като твое право и право на синовете ти от жертвите на примирителните приноси на израилтяните.

And the waved breast and elevated shoulder shall ye likewise eat in a clean place, thou and thy sons and thy daughters with thee; for they are thy due and thy sons’ due, which are given out of the sacrifices of the peace of the sons of Israel.

15 Б едрото на приноса за издигане и гърдите на движимия да донасят заедно с жертвите чрез огън на тлъстината, за да ги подвижат за движим принос пред Господа; и ще бъде твое вечно право и <право> на синовете ти с тебе, според както заповяда Господ.

With the offerings of the fat which are to be lit on fire, they shall bring the shoulder which is to be elevated and the breast which shall be waved as a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine and thy sons’ with thee by a perpetual statute, as the LORD has commanded.

16 И Моисей търсеше грижливо козела на приноса за грях, но ето че беше изгорен; за това той се разгневи на Елеазара и на Итамара, Аароновите останали синове, и рече:

And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin, and, behold, it was burnt up, and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left alive, saying,

17 З ащо не ядохте приноса за грях на светото място, тъй като е пресвето, и ви е дадено, за да отнемате беззаконието на обществото и да правите умилостивение за тях пред Господа?

Why have ye not eaten of the atonement for sin in the holy place? For it is most holy, and God has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, that they may be reconciled before the LORD.

18 Е то, кръвта му не се внесе вътре в светилището. Трябваше непременно да го ядете в светилището, както заповядах.

Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the inner sanctuary; ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.

19 Н о Аарон каза на Моисея: Ето, те принесоха днес приноса си за грях и всеизгарянето си пред Господа; и, като ми се случиха такива работи, ако бях ял днес приноса за грях, щеше ли да се види угодно на Господа?

And Aaron replied unto Moses, Behold, today they have offered their sin and their burnt offering before the LORD; with all this, these things have befallen me; therefore if I had eaten of the atonement for sin today, would it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

20 И като чу това Моисей видя му се задоволително.

And when Moses heard that, he was content.
