1 М ълчете пред Мене, вие острови; И племената нека подновят силата си; Нека приближат, и тогава нека говорят; Нека застанем заедно на съд.

¶ Listen unto me, O islands; and let the peoples strengthen themselves; let them come near; then let them speak; let us come near together to judgment.

2 К ой е въздигнал едного от изток, Когото повиква с правда при нозете Си? Предава му народи, и поставя го господар над царе, И тях предава на ножа му като прах. На лъка му като отвята плява.

Who raised up righteousness from the east, called him that he might follow him, gave the Gentiles before him, and made him rule over kings? He gave them as the dust to his sword and as driven stubble to his bow.

3 П огонва ги, и безопасно минава Пътя, по който не беше ходил с нозете си.

He pursued them and passed in peace by the way that his feet had never entered.

4 К ой издействува и извърши това, Като повика <още> в началото <бъдещите> родове? Аз Господ, първият и с последният, Аз съм.

Who has wrought and done it? Who calls the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and I, myself am with those who are last.

5 О стровите видяха и се уплашиха, Земните краища се разтрепераха, Приближиха се и дойдоха.

The isles saw it and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid; they congregated and came.

6 В секи помогна на другаря си, И рече на брата си: Дерзай!

Each one helped his neighbour; and each one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

7 И тъй, дърводелецът насърчаваше златаря, И тоя, който кове с чука, онзи, който удря на наковалнята, Като казваше: Добре е споено, И го закрепяваше с гвоздей, за да се не клати.

So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smooths with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is well joined and he strengthened it with nails, that it should not be moved.

8 Н о ти, Израилю, служителю Мой, Якове, когото Аз избрах, Потомството на приятеля Мой Авраама,

But thou, Israel, my slave, Jacob whom I have chosen, art the seed of Abraham my friend.

9 Т и, когото взех от краищата на земята, И повиках от най-далечните й страни, И ти рекох: Ти си Мой служител, Аз те избрах, и не те отхвърлих,

For I have taken thee from the ends of the earth and called thee from the boundaries thereof and said unto thee Thou shalt be my slave; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

10 Н е бой се, защото Аз съм с тебе; Не се ужасявай, защото Аз съм твой Бог; Ще те укрепя, да! ще ти помогна. Да! ще те подпра с праведната Си десница,

¶ Do not fear for I am with thee; do not be dismayed, for I am thy God, who strengthens thee; I will help thee always; I will always uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 Е то, всички, които са разгневени на тебе, Ще се засрамят и смутят; Съперниците ти ще станат като нищо и ще загинат.

Behold, all those that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing; and those that strive with thee shall perish.

12 Щ е потърсиш ония, които се сражават против тебе, И няма да ги намериш; Ония, които воюват против тебе, ще станат като нищо, И като че не са били.

Thou shalt seek them and shalt not find them, even those that contended with thee; those that war against thee shall be as nothing and as a thing of nought.

13 З ащото Аз Господ твоят Бог съм, Който подкрепям десницата ти, И ти казвам: Не бой се, Аз ще ти помогна.

For I am the LORD thy God that holds thy right hand saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

14 Н е бой се червею Якове, и вие, малцината Израилеви; Аз ще ти помагам, казва Господ, Твоят изкупител, Светият Израилев.

Fear not, thou worm Jacob, ye dead of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

15 Е то, Аз ще те направя на нова остра назъбена диканя; Ще вършееш планините и ще ги стриеш, И ще обърнеш хълмовете на дребна плява;

Behold, I have placed thee as a threshing instrument, as a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth; thou shalt thresh the mountains and beat them small and shalt make the hills as chaff.

16 Щ е ги отвееш, и вятърът ще ги отнесе, И вихрушката ще ги разпръсне; А ти ще се зарадваш в Господа, Ще се похвалиш в Светия Израилев.

Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; but thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, thou shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

17 & lt;Когато> сиромасите и немотните потърсят вода, А няма, и езикът им съхне от жажда, Аз Господ ще ги послушам, Аз Израилевият Бог няма да ги оставя.

The poor and needy seek the waters that are not; their tongue fails for thirst; I the LORD will hear them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

18 Щ е отворя реки на голите височини, И извори всред долините; Ще обърна пустинята на водни езера, И сухата земя на водни извори.

I will open rivers in high places and fountains in the midst of the plains; I will turn the wilderness into pools of water and the dry land into springs of water.

19 В пустинята ще насадя кедър, ситим, Митра и маслено дърво; В ненаселената земя ще поставя наедно елха, Явор и кипарис,

I will bring forth in the wilderness cedars, thorns, myrtles, and olive trees; I will set in the desert the fir tree and the pine and the box tree together:

20 З а да видят и да знаят, Да разсъдят и да разберат всички, Че ръката Господна е направила това, И Светият Израилев го е създал.

That they may see and know and take warning and understand together that the hand of the LORD does this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

21 П редставете делото си, казва Господ; Приведете силните си доказателства казва Якововият Цар.

¶ Explain your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your foundations, saith the King of Jacob.

22 Н ека ги приведат, и нека ни явят какво има да стане; Обяснете предишното, <кажете> какво е било, Та да приложим сърцата си в него и да узнаем сетнината му; Или известете ни бъдещето,

Let them bring forth and declare unto us what shall happen; tell us what has happened from the beginning, and we shall consider it in our hearts; and we shall know what his end shall be, and cause us to understand that which is to come.

23 И звестете какво има да стане изпосле, За да познаем, че сте богове; Дори докарвайте <някакво> добро или <някакво> зло докарвайте, За да се ужасим като го видим всички.

Give us news of that which is to come hereafter that we may know that ye are gods; or at least do good or do evil that we may have something to tell, and together we shall marvel.

24 Е то, вие сте по-малко от нищо; И това, което вършите, по-малко от нищо; Мерзост е оня, който ви избира.

Behold, ye are of nothing and your works of vanity; an abomination is he that chooses you.

25 И здигнах едного от север, и той е дошъл, - От изгрева на слънцето едного, който призовава Моето име; И ще нагази първенците като кал, Както грънчарят тъпче глината.

I have raised up one from the north, and he came from the rising of the sun; he called in my name and came unto princes as upon clay and as the potter treads clay.

26 К ой е изявил това от начало, за да знаем, И от преди време та да речем: <Той има право?> Напротив, няма някой да го е изявил, няма някой да го е казал, Няма някой да е чул думите ви.

Who has declared from the beginning, that we shall know? and beforetime that we shall say, He is righteous? yea, there is no one that declares this, yea, there is no one that teaches, yea, there is no one that hears your words.

27 П ръв <Аз рекох> на Сиона: Ето <ги>! ето ги! И дадох на Ерусалим благовестител.

I am the first that has taught these things unto Zion, and unto Jerusalem I brought the news.

28 З ащото, когато прегледах, нямаше никой; Да! между тях нямаше съветник, Който да може да отговори дума, когато ги попитах.

For I beheld, and there was no one; and I asked regarding these things, and there was no counsellor; I asked them, and they did not answer a word.

29 Е то, те всички са суета, Делата им са нищо, Излеяните им идоли са вятър и посрамление.

Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.
