1 К олко са красиви нозете ти с чехлите, дъщерьо княжеска! Твоите закръглени бедра са подобни на огърлица, Изделие на художнически ръце;

¶ How beautiful are thy feet in thy shoes, O prince’s daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of an excellent workman.

2 П ъпът ти е <като> обла чаша, от която не липсва подправено вино; Коремът ти е <като> житен копен ограден с кремове;

Thy navel is like a round goblet, which does not lack liquor; thy belly is like a heap of wheat set about with lilies.

3 Д вете ти гърди са като две сърнета близнета;

Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.

4 Ш ията ти е като стълб от слонова кост; Очите ти са <като> водоемите в Есевон към портата Бат-рабим; Носът ти е като ливанската кула, Която гледа към Дамаск;

Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon by the gate of Bathrabbim; thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looks toward Damascus.

5 Г лавата ти върху тебе е като Кармил, И косите на главата ти като мораво; Царят е пленен в къдриците <им>.

Thine head upon thee is like scarlet, and the hair of thine head like the purple of the king hung in the galleries.

6 К олко си хубава и колко приятна, О възлюбена, в очарованията <си!>

How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

7 Т ова твое тяло прилича на палма. И гърдите ти на гроздове.

This, thy stature is like unto the palm tree, and thy breasts to the clusters.

8 Р екох: Ще се възкача на палмата, ще хвана клончетата й; И, ето, гърдите ти ще бъдат като клончетата на лоза, И благовонието на дъха {Еврейски: Носа.} ти като ябълки,

10 А з съм на възлюбения си; И неговото желание е към мене.

13 М андрагоровите ябълки издават благоухание; И върху вратата ни има Всякакви изрядни плодове, нови и стари, Които съм запазила за тебе, възлюбени мой.

The mandrakes have given their fragrance, and at our gates are all manner of sweet fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.
