1 Т огава си спомни Бог за Ноя и за всичко живо и за всичкия добитък, що бяха с него в ковчега; и Бог накара вятър да мине по земята, та водите престанаха.

¶ And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters ceased;

2 Т оже се затвориха изворите на бездната и небесните отвори, и дъждът от небето спря.

the fountains also of the deep and the windows of the heavens were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

3 М алко по малко водите се оттеглиха от земята и подир сто и петдесет дни водите взеха да намаляват.

and the waters turned back and forth upon the earth, and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

4 А на седемнадесетия ден от седмия месец ковчегът заседна върху Араратските планини.

¶ And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

5 В одите намаляваха непрестанно до десетия месец; и на първия ден от десетия месец върховете на планините се показаха.

And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.

6 П осле, след четиридесет дни, Ной отвори прозореца на ковчега, що беше направил;

¶ And it came to pass at the end of forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made,

7 и изпрати гарван, който, като излезе, отиваше насам натам додето пресъхнаха водите на земята.

and he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

8 Т огава изпрати гълъб, за да види дали са престанали водите по лицето на земята.

Also he sent forth a dove from him to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground,

9 Н о гълъбът, понеже не намери почивка за нозете си, върна се при него в ковчега, защото водата бе <още> по лицето на цялата земя. И той простря ръка та го взе, и внесе го при себе си в ковчега.

but the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were still upon the face of the whole earth. Then he put forth his hand and took her and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

10 А като почака още седем дни, пак изпрати гълъба от ковчега.

And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark,

11 И надвечер гълъбът се върна при него, и ето, <имаше> в устата си пресен маслинен лист; така Ной позна, че водата е спаднала по земята.

and the dove came in to him in the evening, and, behold, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off, so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

12 С лед това той почака още седем дни, и изпрати гълъба; но той не се върна вече при него.

And he stayed yet other seven days and sent forth the dove, which returned not again unto him any more.

13 В шестстотин и първата година <на Ноевия живот>, на първия ден от първия месец, водата пресъхна на земята; и Ной, като дигна покрива на ковчега, погледна, и, ето, повърхността на земята бе изсъхнала.

¶ And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year of Noah, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth, and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

14 А на двадесет и седмия ден от втория месец земята <съвършено> изсъхна.

And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried.

15 Т огава говори Бог на Ноя, казвайки:

¶ And God spoke unto Noah, saying,

16 И злез от ковчега, ти, жена ти, синовете ти и жените им с тебе.

Go forth from the ark, thou and thy wife and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

17 И зведи със себе си всичко живо от всяка твар, що е с тебе, - птици, добитък и всичките животни които пълзят по земята, за да се разплодяват по земята, да раждат и да се умножават по земята.

Bring forth with thee every animal that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl and of beasts and of every creeping thing that moves upon the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

18 Н ой излезе, и с него синовете му, жена му и снахите му;

And Noah went forth and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him;

19 и злязоха от ковчега и всичките животни, всичките птици, всичко, що се движи по земята, според родовете си.

all the animals, every creature and every fowl and whatever moves upon the earth after their kinds went forth out of the ark.

20 И Ной издигна олтар на Господа; и взе от всяко чисто животно и от всяка чиста птица, та ги принесе за всеизгаряния на олтара;

¶ And Noah built an altar unto the LORD and took of every clean animal and of every clean fowl and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

21 и Господ помириса сладко благоухание; И рече Господ в сърцето Си: Не ще проклинам вече земята, поради човека, защото помислите на човешкото сърце са зло още от младините му, нито ще поразя вече друг път всичко живо, както сторих.

And the LORD smelled a savour of rest, and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, for the intent of man’s heart is evil from his childhood; neither will I again smite any more every living thing as I have done.

22 Д оде съществува земята, сеитба и жетва, студ и горещина, лято и зима, ден и нощ няма да престанат.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
