1 С ега ще пея на любезния си, Песен на обичния си за лозето Му. Любезният ми имаше лозе На много тлъсто бърдо.

¶ Now will I sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My well-beloved had a vineyard in the horn of the sons of oil;

2 О копа го, и очисти го от камъните, И насади го с отбрана лоза, Съгради кула всред него, Изкопа още и лин в него; И очакваше <сладко> грозде, Но то роди диво.

and he had fenced it and gathered out the stones thereof and planted it with the choicest vine and built a tower in the midst of it and also made a winepress therein; and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

3 И сега, ерусалимски жители и Юдови мъже, Съдете, моля, между Мене и лозето Ми.

And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, between me and my vineyard.

4 Щ о повече бе възможно да се направи за лозето Ми, Което не му направих? Защо, <тогава>, докато очаквах да роди <сладко> грозде, То роди диво?

What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Therefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, did it bring forth wild grapes?

5 И сега, ето, ще ви кажа какво ще направя на лозето Си; Ще махна плета му, и то ще се похаби; Ще разбия оградата му, и то ще се потъпче;

And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be eaten up; and break down its wall, and it shall be trodden down:

6 И ще го запустя; не ще да се подреже нито прекопае, Но ще произведе глогове и шипки; Ще заповядам още на облаците да не валят дъжд на него.

And I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned, nor hoed; but briers and thorns shall come up there; I will even command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

7 З ащото лозето на Господа на Силите е Израилевият дом И Юдовите мъже са садът, който Го зарадва; И Той очакваше <от тях> правосъдие, но ето кръвопролитие, - Правда, но ето вопъл.

For the vineyard of the LORD of the hosts is the house of Israel and every man of Judah his pleasant plant; and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

8 Г орко на ония, които прибавят къща на къща, И събират нива с нива, докато не остане място, И вие си направите да живеете сами всред земята!

¶ Woe unto those that join house to house, that lay field to field, until they have done away with the borders! Will ye dwell alone in the midst of the earth?

9 Г оспод на Силите ми <казва> в ушите: Наистина много къщи ще запустеят без жители, Даже големи и хубави <къщи>;

In my ears, the LORD of the hosts said, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

10 З ащото десет уврата лозе ще дадат <само> един ват {Виж. таблиците на края на Библията. Виж. и Езек. 45: 11.} <вино>, И един кор семе ще даде <само> една ефа <плод>,

For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

11 Г орко на ония, които подраняват сутрин, за да търсят спиртно питие, Които продължават до вечер, догдето ги разпали виното!

Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning that they may continue their drunkenness; that continue until night until wine inflames them!

12 И с арфа и псалтир, с тъпанче и свирка, И с вино са техните угощения; Но не се взират в делото Господно, Нито са внимавали на действието на ръцете Му.

And the harp and the viol, the tambourine and flutes and wine are in their feasts; but they do not regard the work of the LORD, nor consider the work of his hands.

13 З атова Моите люде са закарани в плен, - Защото нямат знание; Па и почтените им мъже умират от глад, И множеството им съхне от жажда,

Therefore my people are gone into captivity because they have no knowledge; their glory died of hunger, and their multitude dried up of thirst.

14 З атова става преизподнята по-лакома, И отвори чрезмерно устата си; И <в нея> слизат славата им, И множеството им, и великолепието им, И ония, които се веселят между тях.

Therefore Sheol has enlarged himself and opened his mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude descended into it and their pomp and he that rejoiced in him.

15 И навежда се долният човек, И унижава се големецът, И очите на високоумните се навеждат;

And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

16 А Господ на Силите се възвишава чрез правосъдие, И светият Бог се освещава чрез правда.

But the LORD of the hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God, that is holy, shall be sanctified with righteousness.

17 Т огава агнетата ще пасат както в пасбищата си; И чужденци ще изядат запустелите места на тлъстите.

Then the lambs shall be fed after their manner, and strangers shall eat the fat ones that are forsaken.

18 Г орко на ония, които теглят беззаконието с въжета от лъжи {Еврейски: На суета.}, И грехът като с ремъци от товарна кола, -

¶ Woe unto those that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope,

19 К оито казват: Нека бърза, Нека ускори делото Си, за да го видим; И нека приближи и дойде Възнамеряването от Светия Израилев, за да го разберем!

that say, Let him make speed and hasten his work that we may see it, and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come that we may know it!

20 Г орко на ония, които наричат злото добро, а доброто зло; Които турят тъмнина за виделина, а виделина за тъмнина; Които турят горчиво за сладко, а сладко за горчиво!

Woe unto those that call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

21 Г орко на ония, които са мъдри в своите очи, И които са разумни пред себе си!

Woe unto those that are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight!

22 Г орко на ония, които са юнаци да пият вино, И силни да подправят спиртно питие, -

Woe unto those that are mighty to drink wine and men of strength to mingle strong drink;

23 К оито за дарове оправдават беззаконника - И отнемат от праведника правото му!

who justify the wicked for bribes and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

24 З атова, както огнен пламък пояжда плявата, И както сламата се губи в пламъка, Така и техният корен ще стане като гнилота, И цветът им ще възлезе като прах. Защото отхвърлиха поуката на Господа на Силите, И презряха думата на Светия Израилев.

Therefore as the fire devours the stubble and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go away as dust because they have cast away the law of the LORD of the hosts and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

25 З а туй, гневът на Господа пламна против людете Му, И Той простря ръката Си против тях та ги порази; Та потреперяха хълмовете, И техните трупове станаха като смет всред улиците. При все това, гневът Му не се отвърна, Но ръката Му е още простряна.

Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he has stretched forth his hand against them and has smitten them; and the mountains trembled, and their carcasses were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

26 И Той ще издигне знаме за народите от далеч, И ще засвири за всеки <от тях> от края на земята; И, ето, те скоро ще дойдат набързо.

And he will lift up a banner as an example to Gentiles that are far and will hiss unto those that are in the end of the earth; and behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

27 Н икой измежду тях не ще се умори нито ще се спъне. Никой не ще задреме нито ще заспи; Нито ще се разпаше поясът от кръста им, Нито ще се скъса ремъкът на обущата им.

None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken;

28 С трелите им са остри, и всичките им лъкове запънати; Копитата на конете им ще се считат за кремък, И колелата им за вихрушка.

whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and the wheels of their chariots like a whirlwind;

29 Р евът им ще бъде като на лъв; Те ще реват като млади лъвове; Да! ще реват, и ще сграбчат лова, и ще го завлекат, И не ще има кой да го отърве.

their roaring shall be like a lion: they shall roar like young lions; they shall gnash their teeth and lay hold of the prey and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

30 И в същия ден ще реват против тях като морското бучение; И ако погледне някой на земята, ето тъмнина <и> неволя, И виделината помрачена през облаците й.

And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea; and if one looks unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
