1 В същата година, в началото на царуването на Юдовия цар Седекия, в четвъртата година, в петия месец, пророк Анания, Азоровият син, който бе от Гаваон, ми говори в Господния дом, пред свещениците и пред всичките люде, казвайки:

¶ And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spoke unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,

2 Т ака говори Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог, като казва: Строших хомота на вавилонския цар.

Thus hath the LORD of the hosts the God of Israel spoken, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

3 В ътре в две цели години ще върна в това място всичките съдове на Господния дом, които вавилонският цар Навуходоносор взе от това място и занесе във Вавилон;

Within two full years I will bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried them to Babylon:

4 и в това място ще върна, казва Господ, Юдовия цар Иехония, Иоакимовия син, и всичките Юдови пленници, които отидоха във Вавилон; защото ще строша хомота на вавилонския цар.

and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

5 Т огава пророк Еремия говори на пророк Анания пред свещениците и пред всичките люде, които стояха в Господния дом;

Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,

6 и рече пророк Еремия: Амин! Господ да направи така! Господ да изпълни думите, които си пророкувал, и да върне от Вавилон в това място съдовете на Господния дом и всички, които са били пленени.

therefore the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD confirm thy words with which thou hast prophesied that the vessels of the LORD’s house and all those that are carried away captive are to be returned from Babylon unto this place.

7 О баче, чуй сега това слово, което аз говоря в ушите ти и в ушите на всичките люде:

Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears and in the ears of all the people,

8 П ророците, които са били преди мене и преди тебе от старо време, пророкуваха против много страни и против много големи царства за война, за зло и за мор.

The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.

9 П ророкът, който пророкува за мир, - когато се изпълни думата му, <тогава> ще се познае, че той е пророк, когото Господ наистина е пратил.

The prophet which prophesied of peace, when the word of the prophet should come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD has truly sent him.

10 Т огава пророк Анания взе хомота от врата на пророк Еремия та го строши.

¶ Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck and broke it.

11 И Анания говори пред всичките люде, думайки: Така казва Господ: По тоя начин ще строша хомота на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора от врата на всичките народи вътре в две цели години. И пророк Еремия отиде по пътя си.

And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus hath the LORD said: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the Gentiles within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

12 Т огава Господното слово дойде към Еремия, след като пророк Анания бе строшил хомота от врата на пророк Еремия, и каза:

And after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

13 И ди та говори на Анания като речеш: Така казва Господ: Ти строши дървените хомоти; но вместо тях ще направиш железни хомоти.

Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus hath the LORD said: Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make yokes of iron instead.

14 З ащото така казва Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог: Железен хомот турих на врата на всички тия народи, за да слугуват на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора; и ще му слугуват; дадох му още и полските зверове.

For thus hath the LORD of the hosts the God of Israel said: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these Gentiles, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him; and I have even given him the beasts of the field.

15 Т огава рече пророк Еремия на пророка, Анания: Слушай сега, Анание, Господ не те е пратил; но ти правиш тия люде да уповават на лъжа.

Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD has not sent thee; and thou hast made this people to trust in a lie.

16 З атова, така казва Господ: Ето, Аз ще те отпратя от лицето на земята! Тая година ще умреш, защото си проповядвал бунт против Господа.

Therefore thus hath the LORD said; Behold, I will send thee away from upon the face of the earth; this year thou shalt die because thou hast spoken rebellion against the LORD.

17 И така, пророк Анания умря същата година, в седмия месец.

So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
