Përkundrazi sa e ngushtë është dera dhe sa e vështirë është udha që çon në jetë! Dhe pak janë ata që e gjejnë!

Ruhuni nga profetët e rremë, të cilët vijnë te ju duke u shtënë si dele, por përbrenda janë ujqër grabitqarë.

16 Y ou will know them by their fruit. Do men pick grapes from thorns? Do men pick figs from thistles?

Ju do t’i njihni nga frytet e tyre. A vilet vallë rrush nga ferrat ose fiq nga murrizat?

17 I t is true, every good tree has good fruit. Every bad tree has bad fruit.

Kështu çdo dru i mirë jep fryte të mira; por druri i keq prodhon fryte të këqija.

18 A good tree cannot have bad fruit. A bad tree cannot have good fruit.

Një dru i mirë nuk mund të japë fryte të këqija, as një dru i keq të japë fryte të mira.

19 E very tree that does not have good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Çdo dru që nuk jep fryt të mirë pritet dhe hidhet në zjarr.

20 S o you will know them by their fruit.

Ju, pra, do t’i njihni profetët nga frytet e tyre.
