1 T he Lord reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad!

¶ El SEÑOR reina; regocíjese la tierra, alégrense las muchas islas.

2 C louds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Nube y oscuridad alrededor de él; justicia y juicio son el asiento de su trono.

3 A fire goes before Him, And burns up His enemies round about.

Fuego irá delante de él, y abrasará en derredor sus enemigos.

4 H is lightnings light the world; The earth sees and trembles.

Sus relámpagos alumbraron el mundo; la tierra vio, y se angustió.

5 T he mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Los montes se derritieron como cera delante del SEÑOR, delante del Señor de toda la tierra.

6 T he heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples see His glory.

Los cielos denunciaron su justicia, y todos los pueblos vieron su gloria.

7 L et all be put to shame who serve carved images, Who boast of idols. Worship Him, all you gods.

Avergüéncense todos los que sirven a la escultura, los que se alaban de los ídolos; adórenlo todos los dioses.

8 Z ion hears and is glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoice Because of Your judgments, O Lord.

¶ Oyó Sion, y se alegró; y las hijas de Judá se gozaron por tus juicios, oh SEÑOR.

9 F or You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.

Porque tú, SEÑOR, eres alto sobre toda la tierra; eres muy ensalzado sobre todos los dioses.

10 Y ou who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

Los que amáis al SEÑOR, aborreced el mal; él guarda las almas de sus misericordiosos; de mano de los impíos los libra.

11 L ight is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.

Luz está sembrada para el justo, y alegría para los rectos de corazón.

12 R ejoice in the Lord, you righteous, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

Alegraos, justos, en el SEÑOR; y alabad la memoria de su santidad.
