1 “ Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:

Así dice el SEÑOR a su Mesías, a Ciro, al cual yo tomé por su mano derecha, para sujetar gentiles delante de él, y desatar lomos de reyes. Para abrir delante de él puertas; y las puertas no se cerrarán:

2 ‘ I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.

Yo iré delante de ti, y los rodeos enderezaré; quebrantaré puertas de bronce, y cerrojos de hierro haré pedazos;

3 I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.

y te daré los tesoros escondidos, y los secretos muy guardados, para que sepas que yo soy el SEÑOR, el Dios de Israel, que te pongo nombre.

4 F or Jacob My servant’s sake, And Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.

Por mi siervo Jacob, y por Israel mi escogido, te llamé por tu nombre; te puse tu sobrenombre, aunque no me conociste.

5 I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me,

Yo soy el SEÑOR, y ninguno más hay; no hay Dios fuera de mí. Yo te ceñiré, aunque tú no me conociste;

6 T hat they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other;

para que se sepa desde el nacimiento del sol, y desde donde se pone, que no hay más que yo. Yo soy el SEÑOR, y ninguno más que yo.

7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things. ’

Que formo la luz, y creo las tinieblas; que hago la paz y que creo el mal. Yo soy el SEÑOR, que hago todo esto.

8 “ Rain down, you heavens, from above, And let the skies pour down righteousness; Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, And let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it.

Desatad, cielos, de arriba, y las nubes derramarán la justicia; ábrase la tierra, y fructifíquense la salud y la justicia; háganse producir juntamente. Yo, el SEÑOR, lo he creado.

9 “ Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?

¡Ay del que pleitea con su Hacedor! ¡El tiesto, contra los tiestos de la tierra! ¿Dirá el barro al que lo labra: Qué haces? y tu obra: No tiene forma.

10 W oe to him who says to his father, ‘What are you begetting?’ Or to the woman, ‘What have you brought forth?’”

¡Ay del que dice al padre: ¿Por qué engendraste? Y a la mujer: ¿Por qué diste a luz?

11 T hus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.

Así dice el SEÑOR, el Santo de Israel, y su Formador: Preguntadme de las cosas por venir; inquiridme acerca de mis hijos, y acerca de la obra de mis manos.

12 I have made the earth, And created man on it. I—My hands—stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded.

Yo hice la tierra, y yo creé sobre ella al hombre. Yo, mis manos, extendieron los cielos, y a todo su ejército mandé.

13 I have raised him up in righteousness, And I will direct all his ways; He shall build My city And let My exiles go free, Not for price nor reward,” Says the Lord of hosts. The Lord, the Only Savior

Yo lo desperté en justicia, y todos sus caminos enderezaré. El edificará mi ciudad, y soltará mis cautivos no por precio, ni por soborno, dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos.

14 T hus says the Lord: “The labor of Egypt and merchandise of Cush And of the Sabeans, men of stature, Shall come over to you, and they shall be yours; They shall walk behind you, They shall come over in chains; And they shall bow down to you. They will make supplication to you, saying, ‘Surely God is in you, And there is no other; There is no other God.’”

Así dice el SEÑOR: El trabajo de Egipto, las mercaderías de Etiopía, y los sabeos hombres agigantados, se pasarán a ti, y serán tuyos; irán en pos de ti, pasarán con grillos; a ti harán reverencia, y a ti suplicarán: diciendo: Cierto, en ti está Dios, y no hay otro fuera de Dios.

15 T ruly You are God, who hide Yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior!

Verdaderamente tú eres Dios, que te encubres; Dios de Israel, que salvas.

16 T hey shall be ashamed And also disgraced, all of them; They shall go in confusion together, Who are makers of idols.

Se avergonzarán, y todos ellos se afrentarán; irán con vergüenza todos los fabricadores de imágenes.

17 B ut Israel shall be saved by the Lord With an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced Forever and ever.

Israel es salvo en el SEÑOR, salvación eterna; no os avergonzaréis, ni os afrentaréis, por todos los siglos.

18 F or thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Porque así dijo el SEÑOR, que crea los cielos; él mismo, el Dios que forma la tierra, el que la hizo, y la compuso. No la creó para nada; para que fuera habitada la creó: Yo soy el SEÑOR, y ninguno más que yo.

19 I have not spoken in secret, In a dark place of the earth; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain’; I, the Lord, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

No hablé en escondido, en un lugar oscuro de la tierra. No en balde dije a la generación de Jacob: Buscadme; yo soy el SEÑOR que hablo justicia, que anuncio rectitud.

20 “ Assemble yourselves and come; Draw near together, You who have escaped from the nations. They have no knowledge, Who carry the wood of their carved image, And pray to a god that cannot save.

Reuníos, y venid, allegaos, todos los escapados de los gentiles. No tienen conocimiento los que levantan el madero de su escultura, y los que ruegan al dios, que no salva.

21 T ell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the Lord ? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me.

Publicad, y haced llegar, y entren todos en consulta. ¿Quién hizo oír esto desde el principio, y desde entonces lo tiene dicho, sino yo, el SEÑOR? Y no hay más Dios que yo; Dios justo y Salvador, no hay más que yo.

22 “ Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

Mirad a mí, y sed salvos, todos los términos de la tierra, porque yo soy Dios, y no hay más.

23 I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath.

Por mí hice juramento, de mi boca salió palabra en justicia, la cual no se tornará; que a mí se doblará toda rodilla, y jurará toda lengua.

24 H e shall say, ‘Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come, And all shall be ashamed Who are incensed against Him.

Y a mí dirá: Cierto en el SEÑOR está la justicia y la fuerza; hasta él vendrá; y todos los que se enojan contra él, serán avergonzados.

25 I n the Lord all the descendants of Israel Shall be justified, and shall glory.’”

En el SEÑOR serán justificados y se gloriará toda la generación de Israel.
