1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Te voi înălţa, Dumnezeul meu, Împărate! Voi binecuvânta Numele Tău în veci de veci!

2 E very day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Te voi binecuvânta în fiecare zi, voi lăuda Numele Tău în veci de veci!

3 G reat is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Domnul este mare şi foarte vrednic de laudă! Măreţia Lui nu are margini!

4 O ne generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

Fiecare generaţie va lăuda lucrările Tale: să vestească cu toţii isprăvile Tale!

5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

Voi spune despre splendoarea slavei măreţiei Tale şi voi istorisi despre minunile Tale!

6 A nd men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

Oamenii vor vorbi despre puterea Ta cea înfricoşătoare, iar eu voi povesti despre măreţia Ta.

7 T hey shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

Vor trâmbiţa aducerea-aminte a marii Tale bunătăţi şi vor aclama cu bucurie dreptatea Ta.

8 T he Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

Domnul este binevoitor şi milos, încet la mânie şi bogat în îndurare.

9 T he Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Domnul este bun cu toţi, îndurarea Lui se întinde peste toate lucrările Sale.

10 A ll thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Toate lucrările Tale Te vor lăuda, Doamne, iar credincioşii Tăi Te vor binecuvânta!

11 T hey shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

Vor mărturisi despre slava împărăţiei Tale şi vor vorbi despre măreţia Ta,

12 T o make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

ca să facă cunoscut fiilor oamenilor isprăvile Tale şi slava splendorii împărăţiei Tale.

13 T hy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

Împărăţia Ta este o împărăţie veşnică şi stăpânirea Ta dăinuie din generaţie în generaţie. Domnul este credincios tuturor promisiunilor Sale şi plin de îndurare faţă de tot ce a creat.

14 T he Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

Domnul îi sprijină pe toţi cei ce cad şi îi îndreaptă pe toţi cei încovoiaţi!

15 T he eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

Ochii tuturor se îndreaptă cu nădejde către Tine, iar Tu le dai hrana la vreme.

16 T hou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Îţi deschizi mâna şi saturi după dorinţă tot ce are viaţă.

17 T he Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Domnul este drept în toate căile Sale şi plin de îndurare faţă de tot ce a făcut!

18 T he Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Domnul este aproape de toţi cei ce-L cheamă, de toţi cei ce-L cheamă în adevăr.

19 H e will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

El împlineşte dorinţa celor ce se tem de El, aude strigătul lor după ajutor şi-i salvează.

20 T he Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Domnul este păzitorul tuturor celor ce-L iubesc, dar îi nimiceşte pe toţi cei răi.

21 M y mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Gura mea va rosti lauda Domnului şi orice făptură să binecuvânteze Numele Lui cel sfânt pentru totdeauna.
