1 T he Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Domnul împărăţeşte îmbrăcat în maiestate, Domnul este îmbrăcat şi încins cu putere. De aceea lumea este întărită şi nu se clatină.

2 T hy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

Tronul Tău a fost aşezat din vremuri străvechi; Tu eşti din veşnicie.

3 T he floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

Mările s-au ridicat, Doamne, mările şi-au ridicat glasul, mările şi-au ridicat valurile.

4 T he Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Mai măreţ decât vuietul apelor cele mari şi mai măreţ decât valurile mării este Domnul din înălţime.

5 T hy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.

Mărturiile Tale sunt vrednice de încredere, iar sfinţenia Îţi împodobeşte Casa; şi aşa va fi, Doamne, cât vor dăinui zilele.
