1 P raise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul! Cântaţi Domnului un cântec nou; cântaţi lauda Lui în adunarea credincioşilor!

2 L et Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Să se bucure Israel de Făcătorul lui şi să se înveselească fiii Sionului de Împăratul lor!

3 L et them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Să-I laude Numele prin dansuri şi să-I cânte cu tamburine şi cu lira!

4 F or the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Căci Domnul Îşi găseşte plăcerea în poporul Său; El îi încununează pe cei smeriţi cu izbăvire.

5 L et the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Să salte de veselie credincioşii îmbrăcaţi în slavă! Să strige de bucurie în aşternuturile lor!

6 L et the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

Fie ca proslăvirea lui Dumnezeu să fie în gura lor şi sabia cu două tăişuri în mâna lor,

7 T o execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

ca să se răzbune pe neamuri, să pedepsească popoarele,

8 T o bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

să le lege regii cu lanţuri şi nobilii cu obezi de fier,

9 T o execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

şi să împlinească astfel judecata scrisă. Aceasta este o cinste pentru toţi credincioşii Săi! Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul!
