1 O Lord, rebuke me not in Your anger nor discipline and chasten me in Your hot displeasure.

Señor, no me reprendas en tu ira, ni me castigues en tu furor.

2 H ave mercy on me and be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak (faint and withered away); O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.

Ten piedad de mí, Señor, pues languidezco; sáname, Señor, porque mis huesos se estremecen.

3 M y self is also exceedingly disturbed and troubled. But You, O Lord, how long ?

Mi alma también está muy angustiada; y tú, oh Señor, ¿hasta cuándo ?

4 R eturn, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of Your steadfast love and mercy.

Vuélvete, Señor, rescata mi alma; sálvame por tu misericordia.

5 F or in death there is no remembrance of You; in Sheol (the place of the dead) who will give You thanks?

Porque no hay en la muerte memoria de ti; en el Seol, ¿quién te dará gracias ?

6 I am weary with my groaning; all night I soak my pillow with tears, I drench my couch with my weeping.

Cansado estoy de mis gemidos; todas las noches inundo de llanto mi lecho, con mis lágrimas riego mi cama.

7 M y eye grows dim because of grief; it grows old because of all my enemies.

Se consumen de sufrir mis ojos; han envejecido a causa de todos mis adversarios.

8 D epart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.

Apartaos de mí, todos los que hacéis iniquidad, porque el Señor ha oído la voz de mi llanto.

9 T he Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord receives my prayer.

El Señor ha escuchado mi súplica; el Señor recibe mi oración.

10 L et all my enemies be ashamed and sorely troubled; let them turn back and be put to shame suddenly.

Todos mis enemigos serán avergonzados y se turbarán en gran manera; se volverán, y de repente serán avergonzados.
