1 T hen I heard a mighty voice from the temple sanctuary saying to the seven angels, Go and empty out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath and indignation.

Y oí una gran voz que desde el templo decía a los siete ángeles: Id y derramad en la tierra las siete copas del furor de Dios.

2 S o the first went and emptied his bowl on the earth, and foul and painful ulcers (sores) came on the people who were marked with the stamp of the beast and who did homage to his image.

El primer ángel fue y derramó su copa en la tierra; y se produjo una llaga repugnante y maligna en los hombres que tenían la marca de la bestia y que adoraban su imagen.

3 T he second emptied his bowl into the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a corpse, and every living thing that was in the sea perished.

El segundo ángel derramó su copa en el mar, y se convirtió en sangre como de muerto; y murió todo ser viviente que había en el mar.

4 T hen the third emptied out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into (became) blood.

El tercer ángel derramó su copa en los ríos y en las fuentes de las aguas, y se convirtieron en sangre.

5 A nd I also heard the angel of the waters say, Righteous (just) are You in these Your decisions and judgments, You Who are and were, O Holy One!

Y oí al ángel de las aguas, que decía: Justo eres tú, el que eres, y el que eras, oh Santo, porque has juzgado estas cosas;

6 B ecause they have poured out the blood of Your people (the saints) and the prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. Such is their due!

pues ellos derramaron sangre de santos y profetas y tú les has dado a beber sangre; lo merecen.

7 A nd the altar I heard cry, Yes, Lord God the Omnipotent, Your judgments (sentences, decisions) are true and just and righteous!

Y oí al altar, que decía: Sí, oh Señor Dios Todopoderoso, verdaderos y justos son tus juicios.

8 T hen the fourth emptied out his bowl upon the sun, and it was permitted to burn (scorch) humanity with heat (fire).

El cuarto ángel derramó su copa sobre el sol; y al sol le fue dado quemar a los hombres con fuego.

9 P eople were severely burned (scorched) by the fiery heat, and they reviled and blasphemed the name of God, Who has control of these plagues, and they did not repent of their sins to give Him glory.

Y los hombres fueron quemados con el intenso calor; y blasfemaron el nombre de Dios que tiene poder sobre estas plagas, y no se arrepintieron para darle gloria.

10 T hen the fifth emptied his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was in darkness; and people gnawed their tongues for the torment

El quinto ángel derramó su copa sobre el trono de la bestia; y su reino se quedó en tinieblas, y se mordían la lengua de dolor.

11 A nd blasphemed the God of heaven because of their anguish and their ulcers (sores), and they did not deplore their wicked deeds or repent.

Y blasfemaron contra el Dios del cielo por causa de sus dolores y de sus llagas, y no se arrepintieron de sus obras.

12 T hen the sixth emptied his bowl on the mighty river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to make ready a road for the kings of the east (from the rising sun).

El sexto ángel derramó su copa sobre el gran río Eufrates; y sus aguas se secaron para que fuera preparado el camino para los reyes del oriente.

13 A nd I saw three loathsome spirits like frogs, from the mouth of the dragon and from the mouth of the beast and from the mouth of the false prophet.

Y vi salir de la boca del dragón, de la boca de la bestia y de la boca del falso profeta, a tres espíritus inmundos semejantes a ranas;

14 F or really they are the spirits of demons that perform signs (wonders, miracles). And they go forth to the rulers and leaders all over the world, to gather them together for war on the great day of God the Almighty.

pues son espíritus de demonios que hacen señales, los cuales van a los reyes de todo el mundo, a reunirlos para la batalla del gran día del Dios Todopoderoso.

15 B ehold, I am going to come like a thief! Blessed (happy, to be envied) is he who stays awake (alert) and who guards his clothes, so that he may not be naked and seen exposed!

(He aquí, vengo como ladrón. Bienaventurado el que vela y guarda sus ropas, no sea que ande desnudo y vean su vergüenza.)

16 A nd they gathered them together at the place which in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

Y los reunieron en el lugar que en hebreo se llama Armagedón.

17 T hen the seventh emptied out his bowl into the air, and a mighty voice came out of the sanctuary of heaven from the throne, saying, It is done!

Y el séptimo ángel derramó su copa en el aire; y una gran voz salió del templo, del trono, que decía: Hecho está.

18 A nd there followed lightning flashes, loud rumblings, peals of thunder, and a tremendous earthquake; nothing like it has ever occurred since men dwelt on the earth, so severe and far-reaching was that earthquake.

Entonces hubo relámpagos, voces y truenos; y hubo un gran terremoto tal como no lo había habido desde que el hombre está sobre la tierra; fue tan grande y poderoso terremoto.

19 T he mighty city was broken into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And God kept in mind mighty Babylon, to make her drain the cup of His furious wrath and indignation.

La gran ciudad quedó dividida en tres partes, y las ciudades de las naciones cayeron. Y la gran Babilonia fue recordada delante de Dios para darle el cáliz del vino del furor de su ira.

20 A nd every island fled and no mountains could be found.

Y toda isla huyó, y los montes no fueron hallados.

21 A nd great (excessively oppressive) hailstones, as heavy as a talent, of immense size, fell from the sky on the people; and men blasphemed God for the plague of the hail, so very great was of that plague.

Y enormes granizos, como de un talento cada uno, cayeron sobre los hombres; y los hombres blasfemaron contra Dios por la plaga del granizo, porque su plaga fue sumamente grande.
