1 F or Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest until her imputed righteousness and vindication go forth as brightness, and her salvation radiates as does a burning torch.

Por amor de Sion no callaré, y por amor de Jerusalén no me estaré quieto, hasta que salga su justicia como resplandor, y su salvación se encienda como antorcha.

2 A nd the nations shall see your righteousness and vindication, and all kings shall behold your salvation and glory; and you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

Entonces verán las naciones tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria, y te llamarán con un nombre nuevo, que la boca del Señor determinará.

3 Y ou shall also be a crown of glory and honor in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

Serás también corona de hermosura en la mano del Señor, y diadema real en la palma de tu Dios.

4 Y ou shall no more be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land be called Desolate any more. But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land be called Beulah; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married.

Nunca más se dirá de ti: Abandonada, ni de tu tierra se dirá jamás: Desolada; sino que se te llamará: Mi deleite está en ella, y a tu tierra: Desposada; porque en ti se deleita el Señor, y tu tierra será desposada.

5 F or as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

Porque como el joven se desposa con la doncella, se desposarán contigo tus hijos; y como se regocija el esposo por la esposa, tu Dios se regocijará por ti.

6 I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who put the Lord in remembrance, keep not silence,

Sobre tus murallas, oh Jerusalén, he puesto centinelas; en todo el día y en toda la noche jamás callarán. Los que hacéis que el Señor recuerde, no os deis descanso,

7 A nd give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.

ni le concedáis descanso hasta que la restablezca, hasta que haga de Jerusalén una alabanza en la tierra.

8 T he Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His mighty arm: Surely I will not again give your grain as food for your enemies, and aliens shall not drink your new wine for which you have toiled;

El Señor ha jurado por su diestra y por su fuerte brazo: Nunca más daré tu grano por alimento a tus enemigos, ni hijos de extranjeros beberán tu mosto por el que trabajaste;

9 B ut they who have gathered it shall eat it and praise the Lord, and they who have brought in the vintage shall drink it in the courts of My sanctuary (the temple of My holiness).

pero los que lo cosechen, lo comerán y alabarán al Señor; y los que lo recolecten, lo beberán en los atrios de mi santuario.

10 G o through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Cast up, cast up the highway! Gather out the stones. Lift up a standard or ensign over and for the peoples.

Pasad, pasad por las puertas; abrid camino al pueblo. Construid, construid la calzada; quitad las piedras, alzad estandarte sobre los pueblos.

11 B ehold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the Daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work and recompense before Him.

He aquí, el Señor ha proclamado hasta los confines de la tierra: Decid a la hija de Sion: “He aquí, tu salvación viene; he aquí, su galardón está con El, y delante de El su recompensa.”

12 A nd they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.

Y los llamarán: Pueblo Santo, redimidos del Señor. Y a ti te llamarán: Buscada, ciudad no abandonada.
