1 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

2 S ay to the Israelites, When either a man or a woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, that is, one separated and consecrated to the Lord,

Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: “El hombre o la mujer que haga un voto especial, el voto de nazareo, para dedicarse al Señor,

3 H e shall separate himself from wine and strong drink; he shall drink no vinegar of wine or of strong drink, and shall drink no grape juice, or eat grapes, fresh or dried.

se abstendrá de vino y licor; no beberá vinagre, ya sea de vino o de licor, tampoco beberá ningún jugo de uva, ni comerá uvas frescas ni secas.

4 A ll the days of his separation he shall eat nothing produced from the grapevine, not even the seeds or the skins.

“Todos los días de su nazareato no comerá nada de lo que se hace de la vid, desde las semillas hasta el hollejo.

5 A ll the days of the vow of his separation and abstinence there shall no razor come upon his head. Until the time is completed for which he separates himself to the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long.

“ Durante todos los días del voto de su nazareato no pasará navaja sobre su cabeza. Hasta que se cumplan los días por los cuales se apartó a sí mismo para el Señor, será santo; dejará crecer las guedejas del cabello de su cabeza.

6 A ll the days that he separates himself to the Lord he shall not go near a dead body.

“ Durante todos los días de su nazareato para el Señor, no se acercará a persona muerta.

7 H e shall not make himself unclean for his father, mother, brother, or sister, when they die, because his separation and abstinence to his God is upon his head.

“Ni por su padre, ni por su madre, ni por su hermano, ni por su hermana se contaminará de ellos cuando mueran, pues su nazareato para Dios está sobre su cabeza.

8 A ll the days of his separation and abstinence he is holy to the Lord.

“Todos los días de su nazareato él es santo al Señor.

9 A nd if any man dies very suddenly beside him, and he has defiled his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day shall he shave it.

“Pero si alguno muere repentinamente junto a él, y el nazareo contamina su cabeza consagrada, entonces se rasurará la cabeza el día de su purificación; el día séptimo se la rasurará.

10 O n the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest to the door of the Tent of Meeting,

“Y el octavo día traerá al sacerdote dos tórtolas o dos pichones a la entrada de la tienda de reunión.

11 A nd the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering and make atonement for him because he sinned by reason of the dead body. He shall consecrate his head the same day,

“El sacerdote ofrecerá uno como ofrenda por el pecado y el otro como holocausto, y hará expiación por él, por su pecado, a causa de la persona muerta. Y consagrará su cabeza ese mismo día,

12 A nd he shall consecrate and separate himself to the Lord for the days of his separation and shall bring a male lamb a year old for a trespass or guilt offering; but the previous days shall be void and lost, because his separation was defiled.

y dedicará al Señor los días de su nazareato, y traerá un cordero de un año como ofrenda por su culpa; pero los primeros días quedarán anulados, por cuanto su nazareato fue contaminado.

13 A nd this is the law of the Nazirite when the days of his separation and abstinence are fulfilled. He shall be brought to the door of the Tent of Meeting,

“Esta es la ley del nazareo cuando se hayan cumplido los días de su nazareato: llevará la ofrenda a la entrada de la tienda de reunión,

14 A nd he shall offer his gift to the Lord, one he-lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for a peace offering,

y presentará su ofrenda delante del Señor, un cordero de un año, sin defecto, como holocausto, y una cordera de un año, sin defecto, como ofrenda por el pecado, y un carnero sin defecto, como ofrenda de paz,

15 A nd a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread spread with oil, and their cereal offering, and their drink offering.

y una cesta de tortas sin levadura de flor de harina mezcladas con aceite, y hojaldres sin levadura untados con aceite, junto con sus ofrendas de cereal y sus libaciones.

16 A nd the priest shall present them before the Lord and shall offer the person’s sin offering and his burnt offering.

“Entonces el sacerdote ofrecerá todo esto delante del Señor, y presentará su ofrenda por el pecado y el holocausto.

17 A nd he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offering to the Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also its cereal offering and its drink offering.

“Hará con el carnero un sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz al Señor, junto con la cesta de los panes sin levadura; asimismo, el sacerdote presentará su ofrenda de cereal y su libación.

18 A nd the Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall take the hair and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.

“Entonces el nazareo se rasurará el cabello de su cabeza consagrada a la entrada de la tienda de reunión, y tomará el cabello de su cabeza consagrada y lo pondrá en el fuego que arde debajo del sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz.

19 A nd the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazirite, after he has shaven the hair of his separation and abstinence.

“Y el sacerdote tomará la espaldilla hervida, y un pan sin levadura de la cesta, y un hojaldre sin levadura, y los pondrá en las manos del nazareo cuando éste se haya rasurado su cabello de nazareo.

20 A nd the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord; they are a holy portion for the priest, with the breast that is waved and the thigh or shoulder that is offered; and after that the Nazirite may drink wine.

“Después el sacerdote los mecerá como ofrenda mecida delante del Señor. Es cosa sagrada para el sacerdote, junto con el pecho mecido y la pierna levantada; después el nazareo podrá beber vino.”

21 T his is the law for the Nazirite who has made a vow. His offering to the Lord, besides what else he is able to afford, shall be according to the vow which he has vowed; so shall he do according to the law for his separation and abstinence.

Esta es la ley del nazareo que hace voto de su ofrenda al Señor, según su nazareato, además de lo que sus recursos le permitan; según el voto que tome, así hará conforme a la ley de su nazareato. La bendición sacerdotal

22 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

Entonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

23 S ay to Aaron and his sons, This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them,

Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos, y diles: “Así bendeciréis a los hijos de Israel. Les diréis:

24 T he Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;

‘El Señor te bendiga y te guarde;

25 T he Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;

el Señor haga resplandecer su rostro sobre ti, y tenga de ti misericordia;

26 T he Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).

el Señor alce sobre ti su rostro, y te dé paz.’”

27 A nd they shall put My name upon the Israelites, and I will bless them.

Así invocarán mi nombre sobre los hijos de Israel, y yo los bendeciré.
