1 T he Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad!

El Señor reina; regocíjese la tierra; alégrense las muchas islas.

2 C louds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Nubes y densas tinieblas le rodean, justicia y derecho son el fundamento de su trono.

3 F ire goes before Him and burns up His adversaries round about.

Fuego va delante de El, y quema a sus adversarios en derredor.

4 H is lightnings illumine the world; the earth sees and trembles.

Sus relámpagos iluminaron el mundo; la tierra vio y se estremeció.

5 T he hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Como cera se derritieron los montes ante la presencia del Señor, ante la presencia del Señor de toda la tierra.

6 T he heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.

Los cielos proclaman su justicia, y todos los pueblos han visto su gloria.

7 L et all those be put to shame who serve graven images, who boast in idols. Fall prostrate before Him, all you gods.

Sean avergonzados todos los que sirven a imágenes talladas, los que se glorían en los ídolos; adórenle todos los dioses.

8 Z ion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of Your judgments, O Lord.

Oyó Sion esto y se alegró, y las hijas de Judá se han regocijado a causa de tus juicios, oh Señor.

9 F or You, Lord, are high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.

Porque tú eres el Señor, el Altísimo sobre toda la tierra, muy excelso sobre todos los dioses.

10 O you who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints (the children of God), He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

Los que amáis al Señor, aborreced el mal; El guarda las almas de sus santos; los libra de la mano de los impíos.

11 L ight is sown for the righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart.

Luz se ha sembrado para el justo, y alegría para los rectos de corazón.

12 R ejoice in the Lord, you righteous (upright and in right standing with God), and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.

Justos, alegraos en el Señor, y alabad su santo nombre.
