1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Bendeciré al Señor en todo tiempo; continuamente estará su alabanza en mi boca.

2 M y life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad.

En el Señor se gloriará mi alma; lo oirán los humildes y se regocijarán.

3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.

Engrandeced al Señor conmigo, y exaltemos a una su nombre.

4 I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Busqué al Señor, y El me respondió, y me libró de todos mis temores.

5 T hey looked to Him and were radiant; their faces shall never blush for shame or be confused.

Los que a El miraron, fueron iluminados; sus rostros jamás serán avergonzados.

6 T his poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Este pobre clamó, y el Señor le oyó, y lo salvó de todas sus angustias.

7 T he Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and each of them He delivers.

El ángel del Señor acampa alrededor de los que le temen, y los rescata.

8 O taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.

Probad y ved que el Señor es bueno. ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el hombre que en El se refugia!

9 O fear the Lord, you His saints! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.

Temed al Señor, vosotros sus santos, pues nada les falta a aquellos que le temen.

10 T he young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord, none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.

Los leoncillos pasan necesidad y tienen hambre, mas los que buscan al Señor no carecerán de bien alguno.

11 C ome, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to revere and worshipfully fear the Lord.

Venid, hijos, escuchadme; os enseñaré el temor del Señor.

12 W hat man is he who desires life and longs for many days, that he may see good?

¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida y quiere muchos días para ver el bien ?

13 K eep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Guarda tu lengua del mal, y tus labios de hablar engaño.

14 D epart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue (go after) it!

Apártate del mal y haz el bien, busca la paz y síguela.

15 T he eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry.

Los ojos del Señor están sobre los justos, y sus oídos atentos a su clamor.

16 T he face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

El rostro del Señor está contra los que hacen mal, para cortar de la tierra su memoria.

17 W hen the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.

Claman los justos, y el Señor los oye, y los libra de todas sus angustias.

18 T he Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.

Cercano está el Señor a los quebrantados de corazón, y salva a los abatidos de espíritu.

19 M any evils confront the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Muchas son las aflicciones del justo, pero de todas ellas lo libra el Señor.

20 H e keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.

El guarda todos sus huesos; ni uno de ellos es quebrantado.

21 E vil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned.

La maldad dará muerte al impío, y los que aborrecen al justo serán condenados.

22 T he Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.

El Señor redime el alma de sus siervos; y no será condenado ninguno de los que en El se refugian.
