1 O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation!

Venid, cantemos con gozo al Señor, aclamemos con júbilo a la roca de nuestra salvación.

2 L et us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!

Vengamos ante su presencia con acción de gracias; aclamémosle con salmos.

3 F or the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Porque Dios grande es el Señor, y Rey grande sobre todos los dioses,

4 I n His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights and strength of the hills are His also.

en cuya mano están las profundidades de la tierra; suyas son también las cumbres de los montes.

5 T he sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

Suyo es el mar, pues El lo hizo, y sus manos formaron la tierra firme.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

Venid, adoremos y postrémonos; doblemos la rodilla ante el Señor nuestro Hacedor.

7 F or He is our God and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice,

Porque El es nuestro Dios, y nosotros el pueblo de su prado y las ovejas de su mano. Si oís hoy su voz,

8 H arden not your hearts as at Meribah and as at Massah in the day of temptation in the wilderness,

no endurezcáis vuestro corazón como en Meriba, como en el día de Masah en el desierto,

9 W hen your fathers tried My patience and tested Me, proved Me, and saw My work.

cuando vuestros padres me tentaron, me probaron, aunque habían visto mi obra.

10 F orty years long was I grieved and disgusted with that generation, and I said, It is a people that do err in their hearts, and they do not approve, acknowledge, or regard My ways.

Por cuarenta años me repugnó aquella generación, y dije: Es un pueblo que se desvía en su corazón y no conocen mis caminos.

11 W herefore I swore in My wrath that they would not enter My rest.

Por tanto, juré en mi ira: Ciertamente no entrarán en mi reposo.
