1 “ Sim, naqueles dias e naquele tempo, quando eu restaurar a sorte de Judá e de Jerusalém,

“In those days and at that time, I will return the riches of Judah and Jerusalem.

2 r eunirei todos os povos e os farei descer ao vale de Josafá. Ali os julgarei por causa da minha herança — Israel, o meu povo — pois o espalharam entre as nações e repartiram entre si a minha terra.

I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for what they did to My people Israel. They have sent My people out among the different nations, and have divided up My land.

3 L ançaram sortes sobre o meu povo e deram meninos em troca de prostitutas; venderam meninas por vinho, para se embriagarem.

They have drawn names to see who would get My people. They have traded a boy for a woman who sells the use of her body. And they have sold a girl for wine to drink.

4 “ O que vocês têm contra mim, Tiro, Sidom, e todas as regiões da Filístia? Vocês estão me retribuindo algo que eu lhes fiz? Se estão querendo vingar-se de mim, ágil e veloz me vingarei do que vocês têm feito.

What are you to Me, O Tyre, Sidon, and all the lands of Philistia? Are you paying Me back for something? If you are, I will be quick to pay you back!

5 P ois roubaram a minha prata e o meu ouro e levaram para os seus templos os meus tesouros mais valiosos.

You have taken My silver and My gold, and brought My riches to your places of worship.

6 V ocês venderam o povo de Judá e o de Jerusalém aos gregos, mandando-os para longe da sua terra natal.

You have sold the sons of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks, sending them far from their land.

7 “ Vou tirá-los dos lugares para onde os venderam, e sobre vocês farei recair o que fizeram:

So I am going to move them from the place where you have sold them, and do to you what you have done to them.

8 v enderei os filhos e as filhas de vocês ao povo de Judá, e eles os venderão à distante nação dos sabeus”. Assim disse o Senhor.

I will sell your sons and daughters to the sons of Judah. And they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far away.” The Lord has spoken.

9 P roclamem isto entre as nações: Preparem-se para a guerra! Despertem os guerreiros! Todos os homens de guerra aproximem-se e ataquem.

Make this known among the nations: Get ready for war! Call your strong men! Gather all the soldiers and let them come up!

10 F orjem os seus arados, fazendo deles espadas; e de suas foices façam lanças. Diga o fraco: “Sou um guerreiro!”

Beat your plows into swords, and your vine hooks into spears. Let the weak say, “I am a powerful soldier.”

11 V enham depressa, vocês, nações vizinhas, e reúnam-se ali. Faze descer os teus guerreiros, ó Senhor!

Hurry and come, all you nations on every side, and gather yourselves there. Bring down Your men of war, O Lord.

12 “ Despertem, nações; avancem para o vale de Josafá, pois ali me assentarei para julgar todas as nações vizinhas.

Let the nations get ready and come to the valley of Jehoshaphat. For there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side.

13 L ancem a foice, pois a colheita está madura. Venham, pisem com força as uvas, pois o lagar está cheio e os tonéis transbordam, tão grande é a maldade dessas nações!”

Use the long, sharp knife, for the fruit is full-grown. Come and crush the grapes, for the crushing-place is full. They flow over, for their sins are many.

14 M ultidões, multidões no vale da Decisão! Pois o dia do Senhor está próximo, no vale da Decisão.

Thousands and thousands are in the valley of God’s punishment. For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of God’s punishment.

15 O sol e a lua escurecerão, e as estrelas já não brilharão.

The sun and moon become dark, and the stars stop shining.

16 O Senhor rugirá de Sião, e de Jerusalém levantará a sua voz; a terra e o céu tremerão. Mas o Senhor será um refúgio para o seu povo, uma fortaleza para Israel. Bênçãos para o Povo de Deus

The Lord makes a loud noise from Zion. He lets His voice be heard from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shake. But the Lord is a safe place for His people, a strong place to the sons of Israel.

17 “ Então vocês saberão que eu sou o Senhor, o seu Deus, que habito em Sião, o meu santo monte. Jerusalém será santa; e estrangeiros jamais a conquistarão.

“Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, living in Zion My holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, and strangers will never pass through it again. God Brings Good to His People

18 “ Naquele dia os montes gotejarão vinho novo; das colinas manará leite; todos os ribeiros de Judá terão água corrente. Uma fonte fluirá do templo do Senhor e regará o vale das Acácias.

“In that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine and the hills will flow with milk. All the rivers of Judah will flow with water. And a river will go out from the house of the Lord to water the valley of Shittim.

19 M as o Egito ficará desolado, Edom será um deserto arrasado, por causa da violência feita ao povo de Judá, em cuja terra derramaram sangue inocente.

Egypt will be destroyed and Edom will become a desert waste, because of the bad things done to the sons of Judah. They have killed people in the land of Judah who were not guilty of wrong-doing.

20 J udá será habitada para sempre e Jerusalém por todas as gerações.

But people will live in Judah and Jerusalem forever.

21 S ua culpa de sangue, ainda não perdoada, eu a perdoarei.” O Senhor habita em Sião!

I will punish the ones who killed them, whom I have not yet punished, for the Lord lives in Zion.”
