1 “ Porque en aquellos días y en aquel tiempo, Cuando Yo restaure el bienestar (haga volver a los cautivos) de Judá y Jerusalén,

“In those days and at that time, I will return the riches of Judah and Jerusalem.

2 R euniré a todas las naciones, Y las haré bajar al Valle de Josafat. Y allí entraré en juicio con ellas A favor de Mi pueblo y Mi heredad, Israel, A quien ellas esparcieron entre las naciones, Y repartieron Mi tierra.

I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for what they did to My people Israel. They have sent My people out among the different nations, and have divided up My land.

3 T ambién echaron suertes sobre Mi pueblo, Cambiaron un niño por una ramera, Y vendieron una niña por vino para poder beber.

They have drawn names to see who would get My people. They have traded a boy for a woman who sells the use of her body. And they have sold a girl for wine to drink.

4 A demás, Tiro, Sidón y todas las regiones de Filistea ¿qué tienen ustedes que ver conmigo? ¿Acaso se quieren vengar de Mí? Si de esta manera se vengan de Mí, bien pronto haré volver su venganza sobre su cabeza.

What are you to Me, O Tyre, Sidon, and all the lands of Philistia? Are you paying Me back for something? If you are, I will be quick to pay you back!

5 P or cuanto han tomado Mi plata y Mi oro, y se han llevado Mis valiosos tesoros a sus templos,

You have taken My silver and My gold, and brought My riches to your places of worship.

6 y han vendido los hijos de Judá y Jerusalén a los Griegos para alejarlos de su territorio,

You have sold the sons of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks, sending them far from their land.

7 Y o los levantaré del lugar donde los vendieron, y devolveré su venganza sobre su cabeza.

So I am going to move them from the place where you have sold them, and do to you what you have done to them.

8 T ambién venderé sus hijos y sus hijas a los hijos de Judá, y ellos los venderán a los Sabeos, a una nación lejana,” porque el Señor lo ha dicho.

I will sell your sons and daughters to the sons of Judah. And they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far away.” The Lord has spoken.

9 P roclamen esto entre las naciones: Prepárense para la guerra, despierten a los valientes; Acérquense, suban todos los soldados.

Make this known among the nations: Get ready for war! Call your strong men! Gather all the soldiers and let them come up!

10 F orjen espadas de sus rejas de arado Y lanzas de sus podaderas; Diga el débil: “Fuerte soy.”

Beat your plows into swords, and your vine hooks into spears. Let the weak say, “I am a powerful soldier.”

11 A presúrense y vengan, naciones todas de alrededor, Y reúnanse allí. Haz descender, oh Señor, a Tus valientes.

Hurry and come, all you nations on every side, and gather yourselves there. Bring down Your men of war, O Lord.

12 D espiértense y suban las naciones Al Valle de Josafat, Porque allí Me sentaré a juzgar A todas las naciones de alrededor.

Let the nations get ready and come to the valley of Jehoshaphat. For there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side.

13 M etan la hoz, porque la cosecha está madura; Vengan, pisen, que el lagar está lleno; Las tinajas rebosan, porque grande es su maldad.

Use the long, sharp knife, for the fruit is full-grown. Come and crush the grapes, for the crushing-place is full. They flow over, for their sins are many.

14 M ultitudes de multitudes en el valle de la decisión. Porque cerca está el día del Señor en el valle de la decisión.

Thousands and thousands are in the valley of God’s punishment. For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of God’s punishment.

15 E l sol y la luna se oscurecen, Y las estrellas pierden su resplandor.

The sun and moon become dark, and the stars stop shining.

16 E l Señor ruge desde Sion Y desde Jerusalén da Su voz, Y tiemblan los cielos y la tierra. Pero el Señor es refugio para Su pueblo Y fortaleza para los Israelitas.

The Lord makes a loud noise from Zion. He lets His voice be heard from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shake. But the Lord is a safe place for His people, a strong place to the sons of Israel.

17 E ntonces sabrán que Yo soy el Señor su Dios, Que habito en Sion, Mi santo monte. Y Jerusalén será santa, Y los extranjeros no pasarán más por ella. Restauración de Judá

“Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, living in Zion My holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, and strangers will never pass through it again. God Brings Good to His People

18 Y sucederá que en aquel día Los montes destilarán vino dulce, Las colinas fluirán leche, Y por todos los arroyos de Judá correrán las aguas; Brotará un manantial de la casa del Señor Y regará el Valle de Sitim.

“In that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine and the hills will flow with milk. All the rivers of Judah will flow with water. And a river will go out from the house of the Lord to water the valley of Shittim.

19 E gipto será una desolación, Y Edom será un desierto desolado, Por la violencia hecha a los hijos de Judá, En cuya tierra han derramado sangre inocente.

Egypt will be destroyed and Edom will become a desert waste, because of the bad things done to the sons of Judah. They have killed people in the land of Judah who were not guilty of wrong-doing.

20 P ero Judá será habitada para siempre, Y Jerusalén por todas las generaciones.

But people will live in Judah and Jerusalem forever.

21 Y Yo vengaré su sangre, que aún no he vengado, Pues el Señor habita en Sion.

I will punish the ones who killed them, whom I have not yet punished, for the Lord lives in Zion.”
