1 D ios es conocido en Judá; Grande es Su nombre en Israel.

God is known in Judah. His name is great in Israel.

2 E n Salem está Su tabernáculo, Y en Sion Su morada.

His holy tent of worship is in Salem. He lives in Zion.

3 A llí quebró las flechas encendidas del arco, El escudo, la espada y las armas de guerra. (Selah)

There He broke the burning arrows, the iron covering and the sword, and all the things used for fighting in war.

4 R esplandeciente eres, Más majestuoso que los montes de caza.

You are shining with greatness, more beautiful than the mountains with many animals.

5 F ueron despojados los fuertes de corazón; Durmieron su sueño, Y ninguno de los guerreros pudo usar sus manos.

Strong men have been robbed. They sleep their last sleep. Not one of the soldiers can lift his hands.

6 A Tu reprensión, oh Dios de Jacob, Jinete y caballo cayeron en profundo sueño.

O God of Jacob, both soldier and horse were put in a dead sleep because of Your sharp words.

7 T ú, sólo Tú, has de ser temido; ¿Y quién podrá estar en pie en Tu presencia en el momento de Tu ira ?

You alone are to be feared. Who may stand before You when You are angry?

8 H iciste oír juicio desde los cielos; Temió la tierra y enmudeció

You said from heaven who is guilty or not. The earth was afraid and quiet

9 C uando Dios se levantó para juzgar, Para salvar a todos los humildes de la tierra. (Selah)

when God stood up to say who is guilty or not, and to save all the people of the earth who are not proud.

10 P ues el furor del hombre Te alabará; Con un residuo de furor Te ceñirás.

For the anger of man will praise You. And You will keep what is left of anger around You.

11 H agan votos ustedes al Señor su Dios, y cúmplan los; Todos los que están alrededor de El traigan presentes al que debe ser temido.

Make promises to the Lord your God and keep them. Let all who are around Him bring gifts to Him, Who is to be feared.

12 E l cortará el espíritu de los príncipes; Temido es por los reyes de la tierra.

He will cut off the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.
