1 B endeciré al Señor en todo tiempo; Continuamente estará Su alabanza en mi boca.

I will honor the Lord at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.

2 E n el Señor se gloriará mi alma; Lo oirán los humildes y se regocijarán.

My soul will be proud to tell about the Lord. Let those who suffer hear it and be filled with joy.

3 E ngrandezcan al Señor conmigo, Y exaltemos a una Su nombre.

Give great honor to the Lord with me. Let us praise His name together.

4 B usqué al Señor, y El me respondió, Y me libró de todos mis temores.

I looked for the Lord, and He answered me. And He took away all my fears.

5 L os que a El miraron, fueron iluminados; Sus rostros jamás serán avergonzados.

They looked to Him and their faces shined with joy. Their faces will never be ashamed.

6 E ste pobre clamó, y el Señor le oyó, Y lo salvó de todas sus angustias.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him. And He saved him out of all his troubles.

7 E l ángel del Señor acampa alrededor de los que Le temen, Y los rescata.

The angel of the Lord stays close around those who fear Him, and He takes them out of trouble.

8 P rueben y vean que el Señor es bueno. ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el hombre que en El se refugia!

O taste and see that the Lord is good. How happy is the man who trusts in Him!

9 T eman al Señor, ustedes Sus santos, Pues nada les falta a aquéllos que Le temen.

O fear the Lord, all you who belong to Him. For those who fear Him never want for anything.

10 L os leoncillos pasan necesidad y tienen hambre, Pero los que buscan al Señor no carecerán de bien alguno.

The young lions suffer want and hunger. But they who look for the Lord will not be without any good thing.

11 V engan, hijos, escúchenme; Les enseñaré el temor del Señor.

Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 ¿ Quién es el hombre que desea vida Y quiere muchos días para ver el bien ?

Who is the man who has a desire for life, and wants to live long so that he may see good things?

13 G uarda tu lengua del mal Y tus labios de hablar engaño.

Keep your tongue from sin and your lips from speaking lies.

14 A pártate del mal y haz el bien, Busca la paz y síguela.

Turn away from what is sinful. Do what is good. Look for peace and follow it.

15 L os ojos del Señor están sobre los justos, Y Sus oídos atentos a su clamor.

The eyes of the Lord are on those who do what is right and good. His ears are open to their cry.

16 E l rostro del Señor está contra los que hacen mal, Para cortar de la tierra su memoria.

The face of the Lord is against those who sin. He will keep the people of the earth from remembering them.

17 C laman los justos, y el Señor los oye Y los libra de todas sus angustias.

Those who are right with the Lord cry, and He hears them. And He takes them from all their troubles.

18 C ercano está el Señor a los quebrantados de corazón, Y salva a los abatidos de espíritu.

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart. And He saves those who are broken in spirit.

19 M uchas son las aflicciones del justo, Pero de todas ellas lo libra el Señor.

A man who does what is right and good may have many troubles. But the Lord takes him out of them all.

20 E l guarda todos sus huesos; Ni uno de ellos es quebrantado.

He keeps all his bones safe. Not one of them is broken.

21 L a maldad dará muerte al impío, Y los que aborrecen al justo serán condenados.

Sin will kill the sinful. And those who hate God’s people will be held guilty and punished forever.

22 E l Señor redime el alma de Sus siervos, Y no será condenado ninguno de los que en El se refugian.

The Lord saves the soul of those who work for Him. None of those who trust in Him will be held guilty.
