1 D ios es conocido en Judá; Grande es Su nombre en Israel.

In Judah God is known and renowned; His name is highly praised and is great in Israel.

2 E n Salem está Su tabernáculo, Y en Sion Su morada.

In Salem also is His tabernacle, and His dwelling place is in Zion.

3 A llí quebró las flechas encendidas del arco, El escudo, la espada y las armas de guerra. (Selah)

There He broke the bow’s flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah!

4 R esplandeciente eres, Más majestuoso que los montes de caza.

Glorious and excellent are You from the mountains of prey.

5 F ueron despojados los fuertes de corazón; Durmieron su sueño, Y ninguno de los guerreros pudo usar sus manos.

The stouthearted are stripped of their spoil, they have slept the sleep; and none of the men of might could raise their hands.

6 A Tu reprensión, oh Dios de Jacob, Jinete y caballo cayeron en profundo sueño.

At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

7 T ú, sólo Tú, has de ser temido; ¿Y quién podrá estar en pie en Tu presencia en el momento de Tu ira ?

You, even You, are to be feared! Who may stand in Your presence when once Your anger is roused?

8 H iciste oír juicio desde los cielos; Temió la tierra y enmudeció

You caused sentence to be heard from heaven; the earth feared and was still—

9 C uando Dios se levantó para juzgar, Para salvar a todos los humildes de la tierra. (Selah)

When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek and oppressed of the earth. Selah!

10 P ues el furor del hombre Te alabará; Con un residuo de furor Te ceñirás.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; the remainder of wrath shall You restrain and gird and arm Yourself with it.

11 H agan votos ustedes al Señor su Dios, y cúmplan los; Todos los que están alrededor de El traigan presentes al que debe ser temido.

Vow and pay to the Lord your God; let all who are round about Him bring presents to Him Who ought to be feared.

12 E l cortará el espíritu de los príncipes; Temido es por los reyes de la tierra.

He will cut off the spirit of princes; He is terrible to the kings of the earth.
