1 E l Señor reina; regocíjese la tierra; Alégrense las muchas islas.

The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad!

2 N ubes y densas tinieblas Lo rodean, Justicia y derecho son el fundamento de Su trono.

Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

3 F uego va delante de El, Y quema a Sus adversarios en derredor.

Fire goes before Him and burns up His adversaries round about.

4 S us relámpagos iluminaron el mundo; La tierra vio y se estremeció.

His lightnings illumine the world; the earth sees and trembles.

5 C omo cera se derritieron los montes ante la presencia del Señor, Ante la presencia del Señor de toda la tierra.

The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

6 L os cielos proclaman Su justicia, Y todos los pueblos han visto Su gloria.

The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.

7 S ean avergonzados todos los que sirven a imágenes talladas, Los que se glorían en los ídolos. Póstrense ante El todos los dioses.

Let all those be put to shame who serve graven images, who boast in idols. Fall prostrate before Him, all you gods.

8 O yó Sion esto y se alegró, Y las hijas de Judá se han regocijado A causa de Tus juicios, oh Señor.

Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of Your judgments, O Lord.

9 P orque Tú eres el Señor, el Altísimo sobre toda la tierra, Muy excelso sobre todos los dioses.

For You, Lord, are high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.

10 L os que aman al Señor, aborrezcan el mal; El guarda las almas de Sus santos; Los libra de la mano de los impíos.

O you who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints (the children of God), He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

11 L uz se ha sembrado para el justo, Y alegría para los rectos de corazón.

Light is sown for the righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart.

12 J ustos, alégrense en el Señor, Y alaben Su santo nombre.

Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous (upright and in right standing with God), and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.
