1 “ Bezalel, Aholiab y toda persona hábil en quien el Señor ha puesto sabiduría e inteligencia para saber hacer toda la obra de construcción del santuario, harán todo conforme a lo que el Señor ha ordenado.”

Bezalel and Aholiab and every wisehearted man in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work for the service of the sanctuary shall work according to all that the Lord has commanded.

2 E ntonces Moisés llamó a Bezalel y a Aholiab y a toda persona hábil en quien el Señor había puesto sabiduría, y a todo aquél cuyo corazón le impulsaba a venir a la obra para hacerla.

And Moses called Bezalel and Aholiab and every able and wisehearted man in whose mind the Lord had put wisdom and ability, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work;

3 Y recibieron de Moisés todas las ofrendas que los Israelitas habían traído para hacer la obra de la construcción del santuario. Los Israelitas seguían trayéndole ofrendas voluntarias cada mañana.

And they received from Moses all the freewill offerings which the Israelites had brought for doing the work of the sanctuary, to prepare it for service. And they continued to bring him freewill offerings every morning.

4 A sí que vinieron todos los hombres hábiles que hacían todo el trabajo del santuario, cada cual del trabajo que estaba haciendo,

And all the wise and able men who were doing the work on the sanctuary came, every man from the work he was doing,

5 y dijeron a Moisés: “El pueblo trae más de lo que se necesita para la obra de construcción que el Señor nos ha ordenado que se haga.”

And they said to Moses, The people bring much more than enough for doing the work which the Lord commanded to do.

6 E ntonces Moisés dio una orden, y se pasó una proclama por todo el campamento y dijo: “Ningún hombre ni mujer haga más trabajo para las contribuciones del santuario.” Así el pueblo dejó de traer más.

So Moses commanded and it was proclaimed in all the camp, Let no man or woman do anything more for the sanctuary offering. So the people were restrained from bringing,

7 P orque el material que tenían era abundante, y más que suficiente para hacer toda la obra. Construcción del Tabernáculo

For the stuff they had was sufficient to do all the work and more.

8 T odos los hombres hábiles de entre los que estaban haciendo la obra hicieron el tabernáculo (la morada) con diez cortinas de lino fino torcido, y tela azul, púrpura y escarlata, con querubines, obra de hábil artífice. Bezalel las hizo.

And all the able and wisehearted men among them who did the work on the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue, purple, and scarlet, with cherubim skillfully worked on them.

9 L a longitud de cada cortina era de 12. 6 metros y la anchura de cada cortina de 1. 6 metros. Todas las cortinas tenían una misma medida.

The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits and its breadth four cubits; all the curtains were one size.

10 U nió cinco cortinas una con otra, también las otras cinco cortinas las unió una con otra.

coupled five curtains one to another and the other five curtains he coupled one to another.

11 H izo lazos de tela azul en el borde de la cortina del extremo del primer enlace. Lo mismo hizo en el borde de la cortina del extremo del segundo enlace.

And he made loops of blue on the outer edge of the last curtain in the first set; this he did also on the inner edge of the first curtain in the second set.

12 H izo cincuenta lazos en una cortina, e hizo cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina que estaba en el segundo enlace. Los lazos se correspondían unos a otros.

Fifty loops he made in the one curtain and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which was the second set; the loops were opposite one another.

13 H izo además cincuenta broches de oro, y unió las cortinas una a la otra con los broches, de manera que el tabernáculo llegó a ser una unidad.

And he made fifty clasps of gold and coupled the curtains together with the clasps so that the tabernacle became one unit.

14 H izo también cortinas de pelo de cabra a manera de tienda sobre el tabernáculo. Hizo once cortinas en total.

And he made eleven curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle.

15 L a longitud de cada cortina era de 13. 5 metros, y la anchura de cada cortina de 1. 8 metros. Las once cortinas tenían una misma medida.

The length of one curtain was thirty cubits and four cubits was the breadth; the eleven curtains were of equal size.

16 U nió cinco cortinas entre sí y las otras seis cortinas también entre sí.

And he coupled five curtains by themselves and the other six curtains by themselves.

17 H izo cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina del extremo del primer enlace, y cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina del extremo del segundo enlace.

And he made fifty loops on the outmost edge of the curtain to be coupled and fifty loops he made on the inner edge of the second curtain to be coupled.

18 H izo además cincuenta broches de bronce para unir la tienda, a fin de que fuera un todo.

He made fifty clasps of bronze to couple the tent together into one whole.

19 H izo también para la tienda una cubierta de pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, y encima otra cubierta de pieles de marsopa.

He made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins tanned red, and above it a covering of dolphin or porpoise skins.

20 H izo luego para el tabernáculo tablas de madera de acacia, colocándolas verticalmente.

He made boards of acacia wood for the upright framework of the tabernacle.

21 L a longitud de cada tabla era de 4. 5 metros, y de 68 centímetros la anchura de cada tabla.

The length of a board was ten cubits and the breadth one cubit and a half.

22 C ada tabla tenía dos espigas para unirlas una con otra. Así hizo con todas las tablas del tabernáculo.

Each board had two tenons (projections) to fit into a mortise to form a clutch; he did this for all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 H izo, pues, las tablas para el tabernáculo: veinte tablas para el lado sur.

And he made thus the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side,

24 T ambién hizo cuarenta basas de plata debajo de las veinte tablas: dos basas debajo de una tabla para sus dos espigas, y dos basas debajo de otra tabla para sus dos espigas.

And he made under the twenty boards forty sockets or bases of silver, two sockets under one board for its two tenons or hands, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.

25 P ara el segundo lado del tabernáculo, el lado norte, hizo veinte tablas,

For the other side of the tabernacle, the north side, he made twenty boards

26 y sus cuarenta basas de plata: dos basas debajo de una tabla y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla.

And their forty sockets or bases of silver, two sockets under each board.

27 P ara la parte posterior del tabernáculo, hacia el occidente, hizo seis tablas.

And for the rear or west side of the tabernacle he made six boards.

28 H izo además dos tablas para las esquinas del tabernáculo en la parte posterior.

And two boards he made for each corner of the tabernacle in the rear.

29 E ran dobles por abajo y estaban unidas por arriba hasta la primera argolla. Así hizo con las dos para las dos esquinas.

They were separate below but linked together at the top with one ring; thus he made both of them in both corners.

30 H abía ocho tablas con sus basas de plata; dieciséis basas, dos basas debajo de cada tabla.

There were eight boards with sixteen sockets or bases of silver, and under each board two sockets.

31 H izo también barras de madera de acacia: cinco para las tablas de un lado del tabernáculo,

He made bars of acacia wood, five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

32 y cinco barras para las tablas del otro lado del tabernáculo, y cinco barras para las tablas del lado posterior del tabernáculo, hacia el occidente.

And five bars for the boards of its other side, and five bars for the boards at the rear or west side.

33 L a barra del medio en el centro de las tablas la hizo pasar de un extremo al otro.

And he made the middle bar pass through halfway up the boards from one end to the other.

34 R evistió de oro las tablas y revistió de oro las barras e hizo de oro sus argollas por donde pasaran las barras.

He overlaid the boards and the bars with gold and made their rings of gold as places for the bars.

35 H izo además, el velo de tela azul, púrpura y escarlata y lino fino torcido. Lo hizo con querubines, obra de hábil artífice.

And he made the veil of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, with cherubim skillfully worked.

36 L e hizo cuatro columnas de acacia y las revistió de oro. Sus ganchos eran también de oro, y fundió para ellas cuatro basas de plata.

For he made four pillars of acacia and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold, and he cast for them four sockets or bases of silver.

37 H izo también una cortina para la entrada de la tienda de tela azul, púrpura y escarlata y de lino fino torcido, obra de tejedor,

And he made a screen for the tent door of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, embroidered,

38 c on sus cinco columnas y sus ganchos. Revistió de oro sus capiteles y sus molduras, pero sus cinco basas eran de bronce.

And he made the five pillars of it with their hooks, and overlaid their ornamental tops and joinings with gold, but their five sockets were of bronze.
