1 E l poderoso Dios, el Señor, ha hablado, Y convocado a la tierra, desde el nacimiento del sol hasta su ocaso.

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and calls the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.

2 D esde Sion, perfección de hermosura, Dios ha resplandecido.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.

3 Q ue venga nuestro Dios y no calle; El fuego consume delante de El, Y a Su derredor hay gran tempestad.

Our God comes and does not keep silence; a fire devours before Him, and round about Him a mighty tempest rages.

4 E l convoca a los cielos en lo alto Y a la tierra, para juzgar a Su pueblo,

He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that He may judge His people:

5 Y dice: “Junten a Mis santos, Los que han hecho conmigo pacto con sacrificio.”

Gather together to Me My saints, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.

6 Y los cielos declaran Su justicia, Porque Dios mismo es el juez. (Selah)

And the heavens declare His righteousness (rightness and justice), for God, He is judge. Selah!

7 “ Oye, pueblo Mío, y hablaré; Israel, Yo testificaré contra ti. Yo soy Dios, tu Dios.

Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify to you and against you: I am God, your God.

8 N o te reprendo por tus sacrificios, Ni por tus holocaustos, que están continuamente delante de Mí.

I do not reprove you for your sacrifices; your burnt offerings are continually before Me.

9 N o tomaré novillo de tu casa, Ni machos cabríos de tus corrales.

I will accept no bull from your house nor he-goat out of your folds.

10 P orque Mío es todo animal del bosque, Y el ganado sobre mil colinas.

For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills or upon the mountains where thousands are.

11 C onozco a todas las aves de los montes, Y Mío es todo lo que en el campo se mueve.

I know and am acquainted with all the birds of the mountains, and the wild animals of the field are Mine and are with Me, in My mind.

12 S i Yo tuviera hambre, no te lo diría a ti; Porque Mío es el mundo y todo lo que en él hay.

If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are Mine.

13 ¿ Acaso he de comer carne de toros, O beber sangre de machos cabríos?

Shall I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

14 O frece a Dios sacrificio de acción de gracias, Y cumple tus votos al Altísimo.

Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High,

15 I nvoca Mi nombre en el día de la angustia; Yo te libraré, y tú Me honrarás.”

And call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor and glorify Me.

16 P ero al impío Dios le dice: “¿Qué derecho tienes tú de hablar de Mis estatutos, Y de tomar Mi pacto en tus labios ?

But to the wicked, God says: What right have you to recite My statutes or take My covenant or pledge on your lips,

17 P orque tú aborreces la disciplina, Y a tus espaldas echas Mis palabras.

Seeing that you hate instruction and correction and cast My words behind you ?

18 C uando ves a un ladrón, te complaces con él, Y con adúlteros te asocias.

When you see a thief, you associate with him, and you have taken part with adulterers.

19 D as rienda suelta a tu boca para el mal, Y tu lengua trama engaño.

You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit.

20 T e sientas y hablas contra tu hermano; Al hijo de tu propia madre calumnias.

You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.

21 E stas cosas has hecho, y Yo he guardado silencio; Pensaste que Yo era tal como tú; Pero te reprenderé, y delante de tus ojos expondré tus delitos.

These things you have done and I kept silent; you thought I was once entirely like you. But I will reprove you and put in order before your eyes.

22 E ntiendan ahora esto ustedes, los que se olvidan de Dios, No sea que los despedace, y no haya quien los libre.

Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 E l que ofrece sacrificio de acción de gracias Me honra; Y al que ordena bien su camino, Le mostraré la salvación de Dios.”

He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright, to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God.
