1 E l Dios de dioses, Jehová, ha hablado y ha convocado la tierra desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone.

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and calls the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.

2 D esde Sión, perfección de hermosura, Dios ha resplandecido.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.

3 V endrá nuestro Dios y no callará; fuego consumirá delante de él y tempestad poderosa lo rodeará.

Our God comes and does not keep silence; a fire devours before Him, and round about Him a mighty tempest rages.

4 C onvocará a los cielos de arriba y a la tierra, para juzgar a su pueblo.

He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that He may judge His people:

5 « Juntadme a mis santos, a los que hicieron conmigo pacto con sacrificio.»

Gather together to Me My saints, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.

6 ¡ Los cielos declararán su justicia, porque Dios es el juez! Selah

And the heavens declare His righteousness (rightness and justice), for God, He is judge. Selah!

7 « Oye, pueblo mío, y hablaré; escucha, Israel, y testificaré contra ti: Yo soy Dios, el Dios tuyo.

Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify to you and against you: I am God, your God.

8 N o te reprenderé por tus sacrificios ni por tus holocaustos, que están continuamente delante de mí.

I do not reprove you for your sacrifices; your burnt offerings are continually before Me.

9 N o tomaré de tu casa becerros ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos,

I will accept no bull from your house nor he-goat out of your folds.

10 p orque mía es toda bestia del bosque y los millares de animales en los collados.

For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills or upon the mountains where thousands are.

11 C onozco todas las aves de los montes, y todo lo que se mueve en los campos me pertenece.

I know and am acquainted with all the birds of the mountains, and the wild animals of the field are Mine and are with Me, in My mind.

12 S i yo tuviera hambre, no te lo diría a ti, porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud.

If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are Mine.

13 ¿ He de comer yo carne de toros o beber sangre de machos cabríos?

Shall I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

14 S acrifica a Dios alabanza y paga tus votos al Altísimo.

Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High,

15 I nvócame en el día de la angustia; te libraré y tú me honrarás.»

And call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor and glorify Me.

16 P ero al malo dijo Dios: «¿Qué tienes tú que hablar de mis leyes y tomar mi pacto en tu boca?,

But to the wicked, God says: What right have you to recite My statutes or take My covenant or pledge on your lips,

17 p ues tú aborreces la corrección y echas a tu espalda mis palabras.

Seeing that you hate instruction and correction and cast My words behind you ?

18 S i veías al ladrón, tú corrías con él, y con los adúlteros era tu parte.

When you see a thief, you associate with him, and you have taken part with adulterers.

19 T u boca metías en mal y tu lengua componía engaño.

You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit.

20 T omabas asiento y hablabas contra tu hermano; contra el hijo de tu madre ponías infamia.

You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.

21 E stas cosas hiciste y yo he callado; pensabas que de cierto sería yo como tú; ¡pero te reprenderé y las pondré delante de tus ojos!

These things you have done and I kept silent; you thought I was once entirely like you. But I will reprove you and put in order before your eyes.

22 E ntended ahora esto, los que os olvidáis de Dios, no sea que os despedace y no haya quien os libre.

Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 E l que ofrece sacrificios de alabanza me honrará, y al que ordene su camino, le mostraré la salvación de Dios.»

He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright, to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God.
