1 D ice el necio en su corazón: «No hay Dios.» Se han corrompido e hicieron abominable maldad; ¡no hay quien haga el bien!

The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt and evil are they, and doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good.

2 D ios, desde los cielos, miró sobre los hijos de los hombres, para ver si había algún entendido que buscara a Dios.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any who understood, who sought (inquired after and desperately required) God.

3 C ada uno se había vuelto atrás; todos se habían corrompido; no hay quien haga el bien, no hay ni aun uno.

Every one of them has gone back; they have altogether become filthy and corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one.

4 ¿ No tienen conocimiento todos los que hacen lo malo, que devoran a mi pueblo como si comieran pan y a Dios no invocan?

Have those who work evil no knowledge (no understanding)? They eat up My people as they eat bread; they do not call upon God.

5 A llí se sobresaltaron de pavor donde no había miedo, porque Dios esparció los huesos del que puso asedio contra ti. Los avergonzaste porque Dios los desechó.

There they are, in terror and dread, where there was no terror and dread! For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; you have put them to shame, because God has rejected them.

6 ¡ Ah, si saliera de Sión la salvación de Israel! Cuando Dios haga volver de la cautividad a su pueblo, se gozará Jacob, se alegrará Israel.

Oh, that the salvation and deliverance of Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of His people, then will Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.
