1 P asado el día de reposo, María Magdalena, María, la madre de Jacobo (Santiago), y Salomé, compraron especias aromáticas para ir a ungir el cuerpo de Jesús.

And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary of James, and Salome purchased sweet-smelling spices, so that they might go and anoint.

2 M uy de mañana, el primer día de la semana, llegaron al sepulcro cuando el sol ya había salido.

And very early on the first day of the week they came to the tomb; the sun had risen.

3 Y se decían unas a otras: “¿Quién nos removerá la piedra de la entrada del sepulcro ?”

And they said to one another, Who will roll back the stone for us out of the door of the tomb?

4 C uando levantaron los ojos, vieron que la piedra, aunque era sumamente grande, había sido removida.

And when they looked up, they saw that the stone was already rolled back, for it was very large.

5 E ntrando en el sepulcro, vieron a un joven sentado al lado derecho, vestido con ropaje blanco; y ellas se asustaron.

And going into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right, clothed in a '> long, stately, sweeping] robe of white, and they were utterly amazed and struck with terror.

6 P ero él les dijo: “No se asusten; ustedes buscan a Jesús el Nazareno, el que fue crucificado. Ha resucitado, no está aquí; miren el lugar donde Lo pusieron.

And he said to them, Do not be amazed and terrified; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, Who was crucified. He has risen; He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

7 P ero vayan, digan a Sus discípulos y a Pedro: ‘El va delante de ustedes a Galilea; allí Lo verán, tal como les dijo.’”

But be going; tell the disciples and Peter, He goes before you into Galilee; you will see Him there, as He told you.

8 Y saliendo ellas, huyeron del sepulcro, porque un gran temblor y espanto se había apoderado de ellas; y no dijeron nada a nadie porque tenían miedo. Aparición de Jesús a María Magdalena

Then they went out fled from the tomb, for trembling and bewilderment and consternation had seized them. And they said nothing about it to anyone, for they were held by alarm and fear.

9 D espués de haber resucitado, muy temprano el primer día de la semana, Jesús se apareció primero a María Magdalena, de la que había echado fuera siete demonios.

Now Jesus, having risen '> from death] early on the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had driven out seven demons.

10 Y ella fue y se lo comunicó a los que habían estado con El, que estaban lamentándose y llorando.

She went and reported it to those who had been with Him, as they grieved and wept.

11 C uando ellos oyeron que Jesús estaba vivo y que ella Lo había visto, se negaron a creerlo. Aparición a Dos Discípulos

And when they heard that He was alive and that she had seen Him, they did not believe it.

12 D espués de esto, Jesús se apareció en forma distinta a dos de ellos cuando iban de camino al campo.

After this, He appeared in a different form to two of them as they were walking into the country.

13 Y éstos fueron y se lo comunicaron a los demás, pero a ellos tampoco les creyeron. La Gran Comisión

And they returned and told the others, but they did not believe them either.

14 D espués Jesús se apareció a los once discípulos cuando estaban sentados a la mesa, y los reprendió por su incredulidad y dureza de corazón, porque no habían creído a los que Lo habían visto resucitado.

Afterward He appeared to the Eleven as they reclined at table; and He reproved and reproached them for their unbelief (their lack of faith) and their hardness of heart, because they had refused to believe those who had seen Him and looked at Him attentively after He had risen '> from death].

15 Y les dijo: “Vayan por todo el mundo y prediquen el evangelio a toda criatura.

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature '> human race].

16 E l que crea y sea bautizado será salvo; pero el que no crea será condenado.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved '> from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 Y estas señales acompañarán a los que han creído: en Mi nombre echarán fuera demonios, hablarán en nuevas lenguas;

And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18 t omarán serpientes en las manos, y aunque beban algo mortífero, no les hará daño; sobre los enfermos pondrán las manos, y se pondrán bien.” Ascensión de Jesucristo

They will pick up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

19 E ntonces, el Señor Jesús, después de hablar con ellos, fue recibido en el cielo y se sentó a la diestra de Dios.

So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.

20 Y ellos salieron y predicaron por todas partes, colaborando el Señor con ellos, y confirmando la palabra por medio de las señales que la seguían. Ellas comunicaron inmediatamente a Pedro y a sus compañeros todas estas instrucciones. Y después de esto, Jesús mismo envió por medio de ellos, desde el oriente hasta el occidente, el mensaje sacrosanto e incorruptible de la salvación eterna.

And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied. Amen (so be it).
