1 E ntonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

And the Lord said to Moses,

2 “ Manda a los Israelitas que te traigan aceite puro de olivas machacadas para el alumbrado, para hacer arder la lámpara continuamente.

Command the Israelites that they bring to you pure oil from beaten olives for the light to cause a lamp to burn continually.

3 F uera del velo del testimonio, en la tienda de reunión, Aarón las dispondrá para que ardan desde el anochecer hasta la mañana delante del Señor continuamente; será estatuto perpetuo para todas sus generaciones.

Outside the veil of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

4 M antendrá las lámparas en orden en el candelabro de oro puro, continuamente delante del Señor.

He shall keep the lamps in order upon the lampstand of pure gold before the Lord continually.

5 “ Tomarás flor de harina y con ella cocerás doce tortas; en cada torta habrá dos décimas de efa.

And you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it; two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.

6 L as colocarás en dos hileras, seis en cada hilera, sobre la mesa de oro puro delante del Señor.

And you shall set them in two rows, six in a row, upon the table of pure gold before the Lord.

7 Y en cada hilera pondrás incienso puro, para que sea porción memorial del pan, una ofrenda encendida para el Señor.

You shall put pure frankincense beside each row, that it may be with the bread as a memorial portion, an offering to be made by fire to the Lord.

8 C ada día de reposo, continuamente, se pondrá en orden delante del Señor. Es un pacto eterno para los Israelitas.

Every Sabbath day Aaron shall set the showbread in order before the Lord continually; it is on behalf of the Israelites, an everlasting covenant.

9 Y será para Aarón y para sus hijos, y lo comerán en un lugar santo; porque lo tendrá como cosa muy sagrada de las ofrendas encendidas para el Señor, por derecho perpetuo.” Castigo del Blasfemo

And the bread shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a sacred place, for it is for a most holy portion of the offerings to the Lord made by fire, a perpetual due.

10 E l hijo de una mujer Israelita, cuyo padre era Egipcio, salió entre los Israelitas; y el hijo de la Israelita y un hombre de Israel lucharon en el campamento.

Now the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the Israelites, and he and a man of Israel quarreled and strove together in the camp.

11 Y el hijo de la Israelita blasfemó el Nombre, y maldijo. Entonces lo llevaron a Moisés. (El nombre de su madre era Selomit, hija de Dibri, de la tribu de Dan.)

The Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the Name and cursed. They brought him to Moses—his mother was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

12 L o pusieron en la cárcel, hasta que se les aclarara la palabra del Señor.

And they put him in custody until the will of the Lord might be declared to them.

13 E ntonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

And the Lord said to Moses,

14 “ Saca fuera del campamento al que maldijo, y que todos los que lo oyeron pongan las manos sobre su cabeza, y que toda la congregación lo apedree.

Bring him who has cursed out of the camp, and let all who heard him lay their hands upon his head; then let all the congregation stone him.

15 H ablarás a los Israelitas y les dirás: ‘Si alguien maldice a su Dios, llevará su pecado.

And you shall say to the Israelites, Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

16 A demás, el que blasfeme el nombre del Señor, ciertamente ha de morir; toda la congregación ciertamente lo apedreará. Tanto el extranjero como el nativo, cuando blasfeme el Nombre, ha de morir.

And he who blasphemes the Name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him; the stranger as well as he who was born in the land shall be put to death when he blasphemes the Name.

17 S i un hombre le quita la vida a algún ser humano, ciertamente ha de morir.

And he who kills any man shall surely be put to death.

18 Y el que quite la vida a un animal lo restituirá, vida por vida.

And he who kills a beast shall make it good, beast for beast.

19 S i un hombre hiere a su prójimo, según hizo, así se le hará:

And if a man causes a blemish or disfigurement on his neighbor, it shall be done to him as he has done:

20 f ractura por fractura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; según la lesión que haya hecho a otro, así se le hará.

Fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has caused a blemish or disfigurement on a man, so shall it be done to him.

21 E l que mate un animal, lo restituirá, pero el que mate a un hombre, ha de morir.

He who kills a beast shall replace it; he who kills a man shall be put to death.

22 H abrá una misma ley para ustedes; será tanto para el extranjero como para el nativo, porque Yo soy el Señor su Dios.’”

You shall have the same law for the sojourner among you as for one of your own nationality, for I am the Lord your God.

23 E ntonces Moisés habló a los Israelitas, y ellos sacaron fuera del campamento al que había maldecido, y lo apedrearon. Los Israelitas hicieron tal como el Señor había mandado a Moisés.

Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they brought him who had cursed out of the camp and stoned him with stones. Thus the Israelites did as the Lord commanded Moses.
