1 S ubiendo Jesús en una barca, pasó al otro lado del mar y llegó a Su ciudad.

And Jesus, getting into a boat, crossed to the other side and came to His own town.

2 Y Le trajeron un paralítico echado en una camilla; y Jesús, viendo la fe de ellos, dijo al paralítico: “Anímate, hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados.”

And behold, they brought to Him a man paralyzed and prostrated by illness, lying on a sleeping pad; and when Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralyzed man, Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven and the penalty remitted.

3 Y algunos de los escribas decían para sí: “Este blasfema.”

And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, This man blasphemes!

4 J esús, conociendo sus pensamientos, dijo: “¿Por qué piensan mal en sus corazones?

But Jesus, knowing ( seeing) their thoughts, said, Why do you think evil and harbor malice in your hearts?

5 P orque, ¿qué es más fácil, decir: ‘Tus pecados te son perdonados,’ o decir: ‘Levántate, y anda ’?

For which is easier: to say, Your sins are forgiven and the penalty remitted, or to say, Get up and walk?

6 P ues para que sepan que el Hijo del Hombre tiene autoridad en la tierra para perdonar pecados,” entonces dijo al paralítico: “Levántate, toma tu camilla y vete a tu casa.”

But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins and remit the penalty, He then said to the paralyzed man, Get up! Pick up your sleeping pad and go to your own house.

7 Y levantándose, el paralítico se fue a su casa.

And he got up and went away to his own house.

8 P ero cuando las multitudes vieron esto, sintieron temor, y glorificaron a Dios, que había dado tal poder (autoridad) a los hombres. Llamamiento de Mateo y la Cena en su Casa

When the crowds saw it, they were struck with fear and awe; and they recognized God and praised and thanked Him, Who had given such power and authority to men.

9 C uando Jesús se fue de allí, vio a un hombre llamado Mateo, sentado en la oficina de los tributos, y le dijo: “¡Ven tras Mí!” Y levantándose, Lo siguió.

As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s office; and He said to him, Be My disciple. And he rose and followed Him.

10 Y estando El sentado a la mesa en la casa, muchos recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores llegaron y se sentaron a la mesa con Jesús y Sus discípulos.

And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat (reclined) with Him and His disciples.

11 C uando los Fariseos vieron esto, dijeron a Sus discípulos: “¿Por qué come su Maestro con los recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores ?”

And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, Why does your Master eat with tax collectors and those sinful?

12 A l oír Jesús esto, dijo: “Los que están sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los que están enfermos.

But when Jesus heard it, He replied, Those who are strong and well (healthy) have no need of a physician, but those who are weak and sick.

13 P ero vayan, y aprendan lo que significa: ‘ Misericordia quiero y no sacrificio ’; porque no he venido a llamar a justos, sino a pecadores.” Pregunta sobre el Ayuno

Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy '> readiness to help those in trouble] and not sacrifice and sacrificial victims. For I came not to call and invite the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), but sinners (the erring ones and all those not free from sin).

14 E ntonces los discípulos de Juan se acercaron a Jesús, diciendo: “¿Por qué nosotros y los Fariseos ayunamos, pero Tus discípulos no ayunan?”

Then the disciples of John came to Jesus, inquiring, Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast often,, but Your disciples do not fast?

15 Y Jesús les respondió: “¿Acaso los acompañantes del novio pueden estar de luto mientras el novio está con ellos? Pero vendrán días cuando el novio les será quitado, y entonces ayunarán.

And Jesus replied to them, Can the wedding guests mourn while the bridegroom is still with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

16 N adie pone un remiendo de tela nueva en un vestido viejo; porque el remiendo al encogerse tira del vestido y se produce una rotura peor.

And no one puts a piece of cloth that has not been shrunk on an old garment, for such a patch tears away from the garment and a worse rent (tear) is made.

17 Y nadie echa vino nuevo en odres viejos, porque entonces los odres se revientan, el vino se derrama y los odres se pierden; sino que se echa vino nuevo en odres nuevos, y ambos se conservan.” Curación de una Mujer y Resurrección de la Hija de un Oficial

Neither is new wine put in old wineskins; for if it is, the skins burst and are torn in pieces, and the wine is spilled and the skins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.

18 M ientras Jesús les decía estas cosas, vino un oficial de la sinagoga y se postró delante de El, diciendo: “Mi hija acaba de morir; pero ven y pon Tu mano sobre ella, y vivirá.”

While He was talking this way to them, behold, a ruler entered and, kneeling down, worshiped Him, saying, My daughter has just now died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will come to life.

19 L evantándose Jesús, lo siguió, y también Sus discípulos.

And Jesus got up and accompanied him, with His disciples.

20 Y una mujer que había estado sufriendo de flujo de sangre por doce años, se Le acercó por detrás y tocó el borde de Su manto;

And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment;

21 p ues decía para sí: “Si tan sólo toco Su manto, sanaré.”

For she kept saying to herself, If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.

22 P ero Jesús, volviéndose y viéndola, dijo: “Hija, ten ánimo, tu fe te ha sanado.” Y al instante la mujer quedó sana.

Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health.

23 C uando Jesús entró en la casa del oficial, y vio a los flautistas y al gentío en ruidoso desorden,

And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the crowd making an uproar and din,

24 l es dijo: “Retírense, porque la niña no ha muerto, sino que está dormida.” Y se burlaban de El.

He said, Go away; for the girl is not dead but sleeping. And they laughed and jeered at Him.

25 P ero cuando habían echado fuera a la gente, El entró y la tomó de la mano; y la niña se levantó.

But when the crowd had been ordered to go outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

26 Y esta noticia (fama) se difundió por toda aquella tierra. Curación de dos Ciegos y un Mudo

And the news about this spread through all that district.

27 A l irse Jesús de allí, dos ciegos Lo siguieron, gritando: “¡Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros!”

As Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting loudly, Have pity and mercy on us, Son of David!

28 D espués de entrar en la casa, se acercaron a El los ciegos, y Jesús les dijo: “¿Creen que puedo hacer esto?” “Sí, Señor,” Le respondieron.

When He reached the house and went in, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.

29 E ntonces les tocó los ojos, diciendo: “Hágase en ustedes según su fe.”

Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance be it done to you;

30 Y se les abrieron los ojos. Y Jesús les advirtió rigurosamente: “Miren que nadie lo sepa.”

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus earnestly and sternly charged them, See that you let no one know about this.

31 P ero ellos, en cuanto salieron, divulgaron Su fama por toda aquella tierra.

But they went off and blazed and spread His fame abroad throughout that whole district.

32 A l salir ellos de allí, Le trajeron un mudo endemoniado.

And while they were going away, behold, a dumb man under the power of a demon was brought to Jesus.

33 D espués que el demonio había sido expulsado, el mudo habló; y las multitudes se maravillaban, y decían: “Jamás se ha visto cosa igual en Israel.”

And when the demon was driven out, the dumb man spoke; and the crowds were stunned with bewildered wonder, saying, Never before has anything like this been seen in Israel.

34 P ero los Fariseos decían: “El echa fuera los demonios por el príncipe de los demonios.” Ministerio de Jesús

But the Pharisees said, He drives out demons through and with the help of the prince of demons.

35 J esús recorría todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, proclamando el evangelio del reino y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom and curing all kinds of disease and every weakness and infirmity.

36 Y viendo las multitudes, tuvo compasión de ellas, porque estaban angustiadas y abatidas como ovejas que no tienen pastor.

When He saw the throngs, He was moved with pity and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd.

37 E ntonces dijo a Sus discípulos: “La cosecha es mucha, pero los obreros pocos.

Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.

38 P or tanto, pidan al Señor de la cosecha que envíe obreros a Su cosecha.”

So pray to the Lord of the harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.
